The forecast for saturday is mid 30s with wind... so... bundle up!

We will have a keg of Blue Moon 'Full Moon Winter Ale' on hand for those 'of age' participants to keep warm with!

We are close to being set on chili but could always use extra. If you can bring any chilli, cheese, crackers, etc... let me know.

As mentioned in previous posts, we will also be supporting the kdga food drive, and as of now, it looks like we should have discs on hand for sale ($15ea), and raffle tickets for $5 to enter the food drive raffle. For more information on the items being raffled, you can visit http://kansasdiscgolf.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2865
Each purchase of a raffle ticket or disc will come with 5 mulligans. Maximum amount of mulligans is 10.

Last year we had over 40 people show up and were able to raise several hundred dollars for meals on wheels. We are hoping to meet or exceed that # this year. Hope to see you there.

How did the event go? I hope the food drive discs helped you raise some extra bank for your charity.

Ice Bowl went great! Mace brought the discs down and we were able to sell some and raise some money! We had about 40 people show up despite a forecast that wasn't real pretty. It turned out to be pretty decent weather in the high 30s and 10-15mph wind. It warmed up even more for our doubles round! This is unofficial but I believe we sold 40+ raffle tickets and about a dozen food drive discs. Thanks to everyone who made the trip especially the guys that drove a ways (cripin, bo, austin, mace, phillip, etc...) There seemed to be quite a few out of towners present which was awesome. Hope everyone enjoyed the food, drinks, golf, and company... I look forward to next year!
I will post results soon.

Can you post the names of the participants? Looks like this was the first KDGA event of the year. As with last year's Ice Bowl's (or Food Drive events), you have to be a member at the time to get your 10 points.

Sounds like there may be some people who signed up or wanted to sign up at this event or before. I'll update the points when I get more info.
