If you like Water Works, imagine it on Steroids that is Blue Valley,
this
par 70 course is the direction of where disc golf is heading, and we are
glad to present it. The course at Blue Valley just got baskets on July
4th,
what a great Birthday! Mach III are at both of these new courses, and
both
have naturla tee pads. Blue Valley is located on the northwest corner
of
the I-70/4-35 interchange where the stadiums are located for a frame of
reference. Cliff Drive is located in between Water Works and Blue
Valley,
located just up the hill from the Isle of Capri Casino. Cliff Drive has
many shots and plays like a little of all the courses within KC, some
open,
some technical. some wooded, some elevation changes!

KC is claiming Blue Valley's course to be the longest in the world. Seems like their has to be some 11,000 footers or longer out there somewhere. With all the trees, elevation change, and doglegs, I bet Blue Valley does play tough. The real challenge playing there is not keeping your score in the 60's, but rather not getting capped!

Fall Classic Doubles
Cunningham, in the longest placements, is over 10,000 ft
In the fall we have a tourney called Fall Classic Doubles. Were it is the longest course in a 500 mile area. Par 66 or 68 depending on who you ask. There is one hole where a 5 is almost a birdie... Don't be skeered!
There is a traveling trophy. It is very cool and weights about 40 lbs.
If you boys (and gals) are sick of duece or die courses, Come see if you can take down the FC Champs Team Franks/Oien.
We don't have the date posted on Nebdisc.com yet, I will let you know when a date is determined

Blue Valley is a pretty good course...with a couple of tweaks, the course would be great! The main thing that sucked was..the Tee pads, everyone of them was on the side of a hill. Oh and make sure you have plenty of H20 before you play this course in the middle of summer!!
Pretty cool course though!
HUGE!! Very Looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong!
