I've played 3 of your top 10, 2 of them in the last couple months (Beaver Ranch, HCR). They would be 1, 2 on my list but I've not played the rest you've listed in you top 10 (except WW). I really would like to get down to Austin TX as I hear there are quite a few quality courses.

Buddy was talking like he wanted to take a trip to wisconsin this year and I'm sure Highbridge Hills was on his list to hit.

Of the courses you have not played, I've only played Idlewild in KY. Great championship caliber course with length, variety (open and wooded shots) and extreme challenge. We played it while there was still snow on the ground and I still enjoyed myself thoroughly. If you are in that area you should never miss Mt. Airy's. This course is about a 30 min drive from Idlewild north into Cincinnati. There is a really cool proshop on the property that is run by one of the co-designers of Idlewild. We sat there for a while and talked with him; very cool guy with an abundance of knowledge on the sport. We could tell he was kind of irritated that Selah Ranch had just taken the top spot on DGCR. He said he only gets on DGCR to bash the people who badmouth his courses. I thought that was funny coming from an old man.

Another course we hit on our trip last month was in Marshall Missouri (Indian Foothills Park). We didn't plan on hitting this one up but I read the reviews and they were solid so we decided to stop. There are two courses on the property and they are somewhat new (2011). We only played the wooded course because we were running out of daylight but wow, what a hidden gem. If you were ever to have to make the extremely boring drive from KC to STL or vice versa, stop at this course to break the monotony.

I should note that my wish list just includes US courses. I have no idea what else is out there in the world, but I know disc golf is growing fast, and not just here. There are a lot of beautiful places that would be awesome to play at if only for the scenery. Imagine disc golf in New Zealand. They actually do have a lot of courses, but it looks like most are in the flatter areas, not the dramatic mountain scenes. Hawaii could have some killer courses. I saw one on DGCR in Equador that looked crazy. Found a course in the Austrian Alps. It may pick up in South Africa some day. Sweden, Japan, Germany.... would be killer and they do have plenty of courses already.

Mike, I've played Beaver Ranch, Water Works and Pickard on your top 10 list. All solid courses.

On your not played list, I've hit Blue Ribbon Pines and Cottonmill. Both of which were enjoyable. The signature Hole 4 at BRP is as epic as the pictures make it look.

Other courses in Nebraska I would recommend would be Kelley Park in McCook, TaHaZooka Park in Norfolk, and while its still a work in progress Hummel Park in Omaha which might top the list once it gets tees poured and some signage up.

Iowa. I could spend a month in Iowa playing disc golf. Some other courses there I would recommend would be Wildcat Bluff in Urbana, Big Creek State Park just north of Des Moines, Lewis Club Park in Colfax and Sugar Bottom Recreation Area near Iowa City.

Missouri. Brian is also right on the Marshall, MO courses. Last time I was there it was just one course, but they've since added 18 holes and split the original into two. The back course at Albert-Oakland park in Columbia is kind of cool if you know where you're going. Indian Hills, also in Columbia is supposed to be difficult, but I've never played it. Moberly, about a half hour north of Columbia also has two courses at Rothwell Park. I got to play the more wooded west course last year and its very challenging.

Oklahoma. If you can get down to OKC/Norman area, check out the new course in Noble. There is also supposed to be a new wooded course in Ponca City opening soon next to the existing course at the lake. I think Ron Convers already has some pics up on his Facebook page of what we can expect there.

I'd say foutain hills memorial set up was one of favorites. I like the lodge courses better than water works, plus Wilber young too.

Agree with scarpfish, that the course in noble ok is excellent. Also the 2 courses at Taylor ranch in pawhuska ok are top notch as well, both are must plays. I am also very excited about the wooded course that has been carved out of the east side of lake Ponca. I was told it was an old archery range. From what I've heard and seen, online photos, it will be pretty tight and technical. Can't wait for this one.
