Josh, If I could have talked with you beforehand on the course layout, we could have used your setup, no problem. We would have had to fix the tees so that there were one set of each color for each hole, but other than that, no problem.
The way things were going, I was having to take care of everything for you. When I saw the course, I realized that was no different. I would have loved not to have to rush around on Sunday and do something else. Heck, it'd be nice not to have to be involved with it period. But I feel a certain responsibility for giving players what they are promised, and I know the event benefited from my efforts. The only complaints I heard were from people who demanded to play extra holes because the tees were changed.
The real problem here is the destructive stance you are taking. We have enough people around town that have nothing but misguided complaints to offer. If you want to make things better, let's do it!

Doc, meant to get back with you on that after I saw what we had. Looks like we have something like 3 hats, 12 discs, & 4 mini's left. Could still sell them individually or as a pack. The discs they sent us were almost all around 170. I think what we have left is all reddish and close to 170. Not sure what kind of small package I could send a pack in without smashing the hat a little. On the price, we could do something like $21 plus shipping, whatever that is. Want me to send you a pack? Tan or Blue hat?doc wrote:If all the Ace~Race packs are spoken for that's cool...but if you have one left I'll take it off your hands...name your price!doc wrote:Put me down for one pack...as heavy a disc as possible.
PM me your price including shipping.

Mike if I truly would have been taking a destructive stance it would have been with me on top of you pounding your face into the ground.
This was my first true event and though I didnt do a very good job at it you made it worse for me by taking over without even talking to me about things first. You should have told me that I wasnt doing a good job and helped me get better not making someone mad by changing things the way it was.
If people want to complain about how things are ran maybe they should try and help run things like I have tried to do. I have learned so much by helping run league and it can only get better with more time and practice.
Life's Circumstances will make you either Bitter or Better...
...Its your Choice
The only way out is through!!!!!

Tan hat...170ish and red is fine by me. PM me a ballpark price...
Running a tourney/Ace~Race is demanding to say the least... Learn from mistakes and hopefully the 2nd attempt will go a bit smoother, and so on... I ran 2 tournies...never again for me.
Am lookin forward to playing in Wichita for the first time...and am aiming to do so before the year is over.

Following is a PM I got from Sandman:
BITCH!
Hows it feel to be attacked on the internet you little bitch? frick retard you just dont know when to shut the frick up do you..........
I don't really want to respond to this, but I don't want to have to read this kinda crap either.
This is from an ACDGC board member! And this is not the first completely childish message I have got from him either.
This is basically a response to me confronting him on the constant negativity he has been showing, one round in particular where I tried to show 10 discers a fun event at the same time we were all enduring 3 hours of him throwing a tantrum.
I've put easily over a 1000 hours into this club and I could explain, in detail, a list of improvements or responsibilities that simply would not have happened otherwise due to lack of volunteer interest. As far as running league, I try my best to keep it fair and fun. That is the kind of energy you want to support, not diminish or destroy through negativity. I am all for new ideas and encouraging new people to get involved. We have had some problems with this though, and that doesn't need blown up on a public forum. Let's just say that running league and everything that goes with it IS a very demanding job.
While this is pretty irritating, I don't even think about holding grudges. I may hold different opinions about things, but even if it doesn't seem so, I always think about what people say/ suggest to me.
BOTTOM LINE: Let's forget the attacks and work together.
Who else votes we blast this thread?
