Region 2 won the round in Hays with only 8 players. Winfield kept up with the rest with only 3 players attending!

1 final Team Challenge event is left at Shunga.

Region 1,5 (22 members): 67.5 points (48 total member*tourneys, 7 division absences)

Region 2 (22 members): 61 points (30 total member*tourneys, 10 division absences)

Region 3 (22 members): 81.5 points (57 total member*tourneys, 4 division absences)

Divisions were based on last years attendance numbers. Even though points were actually given for absences, point totals follow the pattern of least to most absences. One thing that makes it lopsided is the lack of attendance in the womens division for some regions. Here are the point totals without the womens division.

There you have it. Team WICHITA wins!

The final event only drew about half the members as the other 5 events. No women. More absences than not.

As far as I know, this was just for fun this year. I will not be tracking this again next year unless there is a significant interest voiced. It was a lot of work. We've been talking about doing this for several years, so I decided to make it happen this year. I haven't heard ANY comments on it.

One good thing is that if there is ever motivation to bring it back, you'll have a good base to start with. It should be pretty evident if you change of the 'variables' if it will be a good or undesired result.

My thoughts are that there were a few too many absences for this to be as fun as it could have been. Need more people at these bigger events. I think the team challenge should be for some type of prize. That way people want to join the KDGA so they can represent their team.

I welcome any thoughts on how to improve this idea.
