I will take care of the funnel cake ordering and all party favors, we do need to get some one over to the course to put in the cages for all the animals though. You might also assign someone to get all the costumes arranged.

This is going to be the best Circus ever!!!

One of you needs to take the rules test. You have to have a cert. official. You can get all the sanctioning crap off the PDGA website.

I just ordered the officials test and I will get that done asap. As far as going to league that would be good if I was not otherwise committed on wednesday.

We will have to organize a meeting with everyone that wants to be involved one night after league.

I am sending in my test to become a certified official. I will send in the sanctioning agrement for the shunga next week so we can have a date for the event. B tier even if I have to kick in the 75.00 to get it sanctioned.

Just got my test back today.....must be a bit slow....missed three while diligently using the rule book! But I passed so I am now an official official.

I missed a couple, too. They always have some conveluted situations on that test. They never happen in real life...

So is this event really going to happen. I got this post from the KCFDC group today on the Shunga Numga being dead.
I have gotten some terrible news from a reliable
source that the tournament that most of us look
forward to all year is dead. Topeka's famous Shunga
Nunga, held annually for 15 years and previously run
by Bruce "The Deuce" Hudson, his wife and others in
the Dawn to Dusk Disc Club, seems to not have anyone
to carry the torch.
It is hard to believe that after so long and after
such a following no one is willing, or able to take on
the responsibility of continuing the tradition.
Perhaps the task seems too great. Is it that no one
knows where to start? Is it that no one was taught
what to do and how? Is it a lack of mentor ship? Or
is it that our disc golf community is made up of
people unwilling to help pick up the reigns from those
that need a break?
I can't pretend to know the answers to the question,
but I know one thing for sure. Sending a sincere and
heart felt THANK YOU to those that made such an event
possible is MAN TO Y.
THANK YOU for hiding those little melons for prizes!
THANK YOU for setting up and breaking down those
wonderful and challenging temporary courses!
THANK YOU for having one of the best parties of the
year every year!
THANK YOU for hiring a band!
THANK YOU for the beer and the food!
THANK YOU for setting up baskets for the glow round!
THANK YOU for letting the Disc Nazis set up their
finds!
THANK YOU for finding so many sponsors!
THANK YOU for an always exciting final nine!
THANK YOU for not sleeping so that everything went off
without a hitch!
THANK YOU for everything you did! We'll never forget
it!
Sincerely,
Ben Taylor

I don't know why there wouldn't, I mean the Dawn2Dusk Disc Golf club raised a bunch of money at the Wakarusa, oh wait, that was for baskets for someone elses course in another town, so Dano, what did you think of Crestviews Baskets???
