7-9-13
Lakewood North

-11 Jones & Brett $30
-10 Phil S. & A.J. $20 (Won Playoff)
-10 Rich & Brandon $10
-9 Cory & Tyler
-8 Jacob & Ryan
-8 Clint & Damion
-8 Austin & Tom M.

20 Players

ACE - Chris Jones - #7 Short-to-Short - D1 Prodigy - $55.50
ACE - Tim Brown - #8 Short-to-Short - XCaliber - $55.50

I messed up the ace fund again. HERE is where I messed up last time and HERE is the official rule for when two aces are hit during the same league. Tim & Jones should have split $74 for $37 each but I split the ace fund again for the second ace adding $37 to the payout so they split $111. Last time I messed this up I said the rule should be changed. Since I can't seem to remember the rule I'm going to officially change it. The "Aces Up" rule below will be in effect for all future Tuesday leagues.

Aces Up - Any Central Kansas Flyers club member who hits an ace during league shall receive half the ace fund up to $300. Any non-member who hits an ace during league shall receive half the ace fund up to $50. If two club members hit aces during the same league, the two players shall split half the ace fund up to $300 for the first ace and half the ace fund up to $100 for the second ace ($400 maximum). If one club member and one non-member both hit aces during the same league, the club member's payout shall be figured first which will be half the ace fund up to $300 and the non-member's payout shall be figured second which will be half the remaining ace fund up to $50. If two non-members hit aces during the same league, the two players shall split half the ace fund up to $50 for the first ace and half the ace fund up to $50 for the second ace ($100 maximum). No additional money shall be added to the payout if three or more players hit aces during the same league.

Ace fund is $36.

Harvey, buddy, and mike w. Can start drawing a pro card from time to time. They are solid enough, and spent more time in the league than most of us drawing pro cards today. No excuses.

Oh yeah, and if you wanna keep moving baskets, move them on the North side. Might as well stretch it out too.

Instead of looking at it as pro or am people need to look at it as overall ranking. If you are ranked in the middle of the group sometimes you will need to move up. I know they didn't win last night, but on paper Nate and Mike isn't a fair team.

Here's how I see it with a little help from Swede's K-Ratings. I left a few people off the list who don't play league very much anymore (Robert, Stretch, Crash, etc.) Mike Wilson does play Pro more often than he plays Am. Buddy doesn't have a long enough drive to play Pro although he does putt well. Harvey just doesn't have the rating to play Pro. It all depends on how many Pros show up to league.

BLUE = Pro
GREEN = Pro/Am
RED = Am

Personally, I like playing the pro card. I feel it is making me a better player. Distance isn"t everything, I would take consistency over distance any day, and these guys have it. That said, I have seen Evan take a pro card more than these guys. Just saying

The results for Tuesday League in 2013 show that Evan's score was recorded once as a Pro player and five times as an Am. Mike's score was recorded four times as a Pro and twice as an Am. Mike even played Pro with you as his Am partner on 7/16/13.

Buddy is in his 60's and won't be getting better anytime soon. Maybe that's the wrong way to say it but I don't think Buddy wants to become a Pro. There's no way that I can make him take a Pro card and get paired up with a beginner who throws shorter than he does. They wouldn't be able to compete with any other teams in that hypothetical league.
