I've been hearing all you guys rave about this tournament for years now and for me there was always some issue at work about no leave available that prevented me from attending. Finally, I got to experience this for myself and I have to absolutely conclude that it lives up to the hype. Hopefully, I can attend again next year, because I know I can break under 300 for the weekend.

Thank you Mace, and thank you Salina crew for an awesome time.

I did have a yellow-green Champ Sidewinder that tombstoned into the mud that would have been the water on Hole 1, north of the path across the pond. I spotted it still there after the last round from the tee box, but after spending about 10 minutes grabbing my retriever, unkotting some kinks in the string and running down there, someone had grabbed it. I would like it back. If you know of its whereabouts, either PM me on here, or send a text to the number on the disc. Thanks.

I have a few questions for all the players that played this weekend or that have played it in the past few years.

Last year I added two holes making it a twenty hole course do to all the people that wanted to play the event. This year I was watching the round time and it makes me wonder.
Is 3.5 to 4 hours rounds to much???

Would playing three round at the Rock and one round on another course take away from the event??? My thoughts on this idea would be to reduce the players on the course at one time making the round play quicker.

What are your thoughts??

Ryan- "great big rock" maybe?

Mace- The flow felt better than in years past. spotting 1 and 13 are huge to help that out. seems like the reason people may want another course is to ease their fatigue? otherwise the only reason would be to allow more players in. my personal preference will always be to play all my rounds at the Rock. only get to play it once a year. until it is a permanent i will vote to play all rounds out there. i may not have shown it 3/4 of the weekend, but even when that course is kicking my butt i enjoy it. speaking of...Fluty and Converse I know i owe at least one dollar to each of you.

I'd hate to see other courses used. It's rare to find a tournament anymore that uses the same course all four rounds. That's the way it was back in the day, and that's the way ball golf does it most of the time. One change I wouldn't mind would be 3 rounds and a final 9. By the way, you guys did a heck of a job. It looked like a lot of work went into getting the course ready.

Nice job, smoothly ran, baskets moved inbetween rounds, taken down at night...its a ton of work and you guys have a SUPER CREW in Salina. I'm with Nate and Iqbal. I like all the rounds at the Rock...Once a year blast and one of my favorites in the state. I enjoy being on the disc golf course for an entire weekend, its a huge course and takes a lot of time to play it. I'm glad it does. Like most players, I don't like backups, but it only happened a few times and that is just because some people get confused on how hole # 1 throwing and spotting works. What if you had someone that was not playing hole # 1's teebox, they could "get the ball rolling" with the first couple of groups. Other than the 5 pros teeing off of hole one first, most of the experienced players start past hole one and get to it too late to correct the flow.
God,Family,Discgolf,DenverBroncos,Sooners...Says it all for me.

I like the idea of playing all four rounds of the Rock tournament at the rock. I also like the idea of having another event later in the year that plays multiple courses. Playing Thomas, Webster, Indian Rock, and a modified Lakewood in one weekend would sweet.

Thanks to everyone that helped out this weekend. I did less than I ever have and everything was great.
