1880 DUBS @ Camp Hawk *OCT 20th*
Re: 1880 DUBS @ Camp Hawk *OCT 20th*
I'm so excited for this tourney! We had so much fun last year, that we're going there for our anniversary this year!
Re: 1880 DUBS @ Camp Hawk *OCT 20th*
Important Deadlines:
I got behind on posting teams. I am capping the field at 40 teams. There are 3 SPOTS LEFT for rated teams. If you know someone who was thinking about playing, tell them to post/PM/or call me quick. If these spots don't fill, there are a couple unrated teams who queued up a long time ago to take the spots.
Adkins will have an online registration set up shortly. Once that is set up, I will give the approved teams a week or so to secure their spot by registering online or in person (with me or a rep in Wichita). If we don't have 40 rated teams by then, I will open the spots to unrated teams and late signups.
Thanks to all for signing up! I can't believe we might fill this baby UP!

How do we want to do the points for this? What did we do last year, 15 bonus points for each player? I don't see a problem if we wanted to do it like a standard event. Each member would have a score that you could compare to the other member scores, so points like usual, would depend on the number of members beat, not the number of teams beat.

Online registration is now available! As Brandon mentioned, for now please keep this limited to teams who have already signed up and been approved...

I'm good either way and I hope people get lots of points. But one thing to consider if you go the standard route is that a player's choice of partner/division could make a lot of difference as to the points he/she could earn. An 880 player partnered with a 990 player is gonna get a bunch more points than if he picked an 815 rated partner and played the One7.Schoen-hopper wrote:How do we want to do the points for this? Each member would have a score that you could compare to the other member scores, so points like usual, would depend on the number of members beat, not the number of teams beat.
Schoenny, why don't I see you on the list?? Don't you and Bill Paulson want to come run the table?

If we qualify, me and Adam Spexarth will team up.
Re: 1880 DUBS @ Camp Hawk *OCT 20th*
I don't think we can give points based on performance. We need to stick to the all get "X" Bonus Points for playing. With the cap on the field not everyone is able to play. Also if you scored points for all KDGA members beat, someone in the lower divisions could score a years worth of points at this event. Since they normally score 3-10 points/event.Swede wrote:I'm good either way and I hope people get lots of points. Re: 1880 DUBS @ Camp Hawk *OCT 20th*
There is a thread called "Current K-Ratings" on the Tournaments page. It is a sticky thread right next to the schedule and Oz tour points at the top of the page. It will be there as long as I do K-Ratings. It has the link.
Nasty 982
Jake 881
Nasty, please make sure R/B and Austin know they've got til Monkey Island to register online or with me personally.
Mike, I could swear you played something this year but you don't have a K-Rating. Did you play a PDGA event?
Spexarth 941
Mike's 2011 K-Rating 932. Mike's 2011 PDGA rating 921.
Does anybody know Will Scott? Hit me up if you've got any info.
ALL NEW TEAMS WILL GO ON A WAITING LIST. Don't lose hope, not all the teams on the list confirmed they could make it.
