Mulvane Madness! Sept. 25th

Post by smitty »

Sorry for the late notice. When I looked at the end of the year schedule today, I realized that next weekend is the only weekend I don't have something going on until the finals.

I am just going to run with it and see what happens.

Same format as last year.

$25 entry fee ($2 KDGA, $3 Ace, $11 stroke play, $9 Skins payout)

Format:
18 Holes playing with in your division.
Lunch
9 Holes playing with in your division.
9 Holes skins based on your overall score.

$11 of you entry fee will be dedicated to the payout for overall best score in each division. This portion will be done just like a normal tourney. Pros get cash and Ams get plastic.

$9 of your entry fee will go to the final 9 skins match. Each player will be playing in a final 9 for $1/person/hole. If 2 people tie, you entire group ties. If you have skins money left at the end of 9 holes, all players are in the playoff. In the playoff, if you don't push the skin, you are out.

Hope to see some of you in Mulvane.

We will be limited to 45 players. Please let me know here if you are going to make it.

I will be playing advanced unless there isn't that many then I will play open.

Are we gonna see any mandos, islands, bunkers or added ob?

Can we play the backward course once or twice please?

Only mando will be the one on hole 3.

If the backwards course is played, that will be after the event. I am not even sure all the stones are still there?

Could the creek be a bunker since it is dry?

What about that mando on hole 8 that would prevent the big hyzer?

gotta work that evening so directly home to take a nap so I can stay up all night

Just received a message from the Corporate Office of Hand Eye. Looks like President and CEO Crispin Carrasco is going to fatten the pot with a $50 donation to the Open division.

Thanks Hand Eye

Long range forecast is looking great. Mid 80's and sunny. Lets hope that doesn't change.

Just got news from Casey "just call me" Fluty and he has a Champion Roc that he is going to put up for grabs on a CTP of some kind. I think that hole #1 would be a good equal hole for something like this.

I have a couple emails out for some additional sponsorship, should know a little more by mid week.

Let me know if you are playing, so I can add you to the list.

Gotcha Jason

Anyone who brings exact change that also includes 5 $1 bill. Will receive a mulligan to use sometime during the first 3 rounds. In addition to you mulligan on the first hole that you will get for this being a WVDGA event.
