Throwing Stock

Post by Austin »

I am always looking for 11x KC Pro Banshees. Any color, any weight over 165, new or used. Just as long as it is not a taco.

I also look for 2x Barry Schultz beast. Prefer the opaque looking disc. Have to be 173g and up. Like these to be new, but whatever.

Man I love those old school beast. I really don't throw them anymore because they are so hard to find and the echo destroyers are so good. Doubt I would be wiling to pay what it is worth anymore.

Austin, how do the Echo Destroyers compare to the Star Destroyers?

In my experience, pretty compatible. Usually a hair less overstable, sometime a little more. Had the same experience with Echo vs. regular star with the X-Calibur. But I don't buy a ton of discs anymore, at least not of the same mold. I did get 3 new Star Wraiths the other day (not echo). One way flippier than a sidewinder, one as stable as a max, the other straight like a normal wraith. Never really had that happen before.

The echo destroyer seems to be a little more over stable for me. I try to keep a fairly new one in the bag for long hyzers and one beat up one for long "s" type shots. Also have a champion destroyer for go between shots that are straight.

More over stable. Well, I was hoping you would say less. Less for Hopper, sometimes. Probably still too overstable for me. Champion Destroyers are more overstable for me, at lest the two I throw. Hey Hopper, would you like to get rid of the flippy wraith??? I would love that! :)

This thing is crazy flippy. I want to see if it flys straight at high altitude.

I do still have that Doo Dah T-Rex for you though. Man I've been out of the loop. Haven't even been around to get my KDGA stuff yet. Shot 13 up last night playing short tees. I think I would have DFL'd in the am division. Perhaps this has a little to do with me not playing to many tourneys.
