Next board meeting will be after league Tuesday. We'll just have it by the clubhouse. We'll be trying to put together plans for the tournament. Anyone interesting in helping please attend. Your efforts will be appreciated.

Meeting after league tomorrow. We need volunteers for the day of the tournament. If you can help with the registration, or the upshot/putting contest, or know someone who could watch the WATER Center for one or both days... please let me or Iqbal know or attend the meeting.

We need some volunteers for tournament weekend.

-We need to know who can watch the Water Center so we can keep it open for people to use the restroom, get water, etc.
-Need some people who can help with registration, scorecards, discs & sales, raffle tickets, raffle contest.
-Need some people who can bring coolers & big water jugs filled with ice & water. We'll supply some bottled water if someone can bring a cooler with ice.

Mike, put me down for 2 big coolers, and I will donate 4 cases of bottled water...I would appriciate if these coolers remained in the water center however, the last time I let a tourney borrow a water jug it disappeared....Bo and I will be painting the 10m circles at HH on thurs if the mowing has been done... Not positive but I think the wife has said she can help with registration on Fri night while I play dubs and I will be there early on Sat morning to help w/ registration for a while as well.... Cant wait to see everyone in the ICT!

Also there was something else mentioned in my group last night that could be cool. Is there anyone with a cam that would like to take video of the lead card in the final round or set up somewhere on the course and shoot video of the event?

If you want this done the right way, you should hire Cooldaddyslickbreeze. Let me know ASAP and I will give him a call.

I contacted Bobby Brown at CDSB. He would be interested in filming either the final round the entire event. If you want his contact info, either go to his site or PM me and I will get it to you.

Ronnie, Crispin, anyone who can help with the circles today & tomorrow. $1 paint at Wal-Mart if you haven't picked that up yet. I looked at my email and plan was for mowing Wed or Thursday at Herman Hill. So it should be done by this afternoon. Oak is being mowed right now and N. Riverside was done Friday.

I'll be flagging tees & DZ's tonight at Oak.

Next board meeting will be Tuesday, May 17th, at Herman Hill Park, after league, around 8pm.

Focus will be on preparing for the Doo Dah tournament. Some of this needs discussed before the meeting. If you would like to volunteer to help with some of the course work or other preparations, let me know and I will keep you in the loop. Thanks.

I think we will have the meeting in the WATER Center tonight following league. I hope this doesn't deter anyone from attending. The building should be open by the time people get done with their round.

OAK PARK BASKETS

Post by Schoen-hopper »

We'll be having a board meeting on next Tuesday, March 20th, at the Water Center following league at Herman Hill. Around 8pm.

We will be discussing, possibly making decisions about replacing the baskets at Oak Park. All ACDGC members welcome and encouraged to attend. If you are interested in course improvement in Wichita courses, please attend the meeting.

An interesting idea with the new rollout the PDGA is doing for local leagues... means lower payout or higher entry fees though unless the club is willing to pay 50 cents for every player at every league.. seems that would add up pretty quick.

Kevin McCoy has sent me like 4 emails asking me if I would provide data for the PDGA. Each time I said I would and he never sends me the form. At this point, I'm not much up for doing any more work. If you want to know what your PDGA rating would be based on your league rounds, I have a file you can use that will tell you that.
