Weekend tourny at KC could also include some disc golfing, Im sure there is a course there somewhere. I am sure if we do go to KC some of the midgets will be a little bit upset to miss the Winfield tourny. But these youngsters love 3v3 soccer and are fun to watch, but we will play it by ear and see what is going on.

Sounds good, I knew you would come up with a solution.

For lunch I think we should do Sloppy Joe's, because that way we can prepare the food ahead of time. We won't need someone to grill hamburgers. I have a generator we can use for power.

From the entry fees, we are already taking out $2/head for KDGA, $2/head for PDGA. I think we should take out $1/head for WVDGA to help pay ourselves for the cost of putting on a tournament. Thoughts?

There is power at the backstop on hole 6. All we need is a couple of long extension cord.

Sloppy hoes and or Tacos are a killer idea.

I would like to have a short meeting sometime this week to discuss. Deductions, player packs, etc.

So how much food do you think we should plan on? I think a can of Manwich will make about 6 sloppy Joe's (says 7 on the can). If we had 60 people that would be 10 cans of Manwich and 10lbs of ground beef. I've got loads of ground beef, so we've got that covered.

Most people are going to eat at least 2 joes each.

We should get a little better guess on the numbers by the end of the week.

Cliff,

Yes I did.

I also deleted it and forgot how many cans you had. The club will for sure buy them off you. I think that we need to plan on around 60 people playing the event. Most of them will eat 2 sloppy joes.

So we need to cook up at least 120 Joes.

Mulvane is coming up. Should we get together and gameplan for this? Also, we'd better work on getting the word out.

I am down for it.

Somethings to think about.
Entry Fees
Format (you only have 9 holes, 11 tops) I have an idea for a format
Reserve the shelter (cost $10 and you must go there to do it)
Players pack
Discs
Ice/Water

Time to start planning for "Golfing Ghouls in the Grove"

Tourney is scheduled for Oct 30th.

Chris Tyler volunteered earlier in the year to be the TD. I hope his is still up for it. We need to figure out what we want to do?

Discs? Players Pack?
Lunch?
Course? Normal course? Alt. holes (I have a few ideas for these)?
Divisions?
Entry Fees?
