Tournament Oct 3rd Oberlin Kansas

This tournament will be three divisions, beginner, intermediate, and advanced with the top three places in each recieving prizes. The tournament will be held at Sappa Park located off Highway 36 a mile east of Oberlin Kansas. Tee off times will be 3:00 p.m for beginner, 4:00 for intermediate, and 5:00 for advanced. Here are the prices for each division, not including the $5 to get into the Ace pool (optional)
Beginner - $7
Intermediate- $10
Advanced- $12

Have you got some people coming for this? Like I told you, I will be there if my volleyball tourney gets over soon enough. (my shoulder is feeling better every day!) You should get on the NebDisc.com site and see if the McCook guys are going to be there!

Got the schedule for the VBall tourney and they are running two courts this year. I will be done in time to come to Oberlin!! I might be bringing James and Chad, depending on their schedule. Will let you know.

Was a fun afternoon at a low cost tourney with nice weather! I was surprised that there were about 20 people there (what was the total count?)! Thanks Kyle for putting this on! I hope you and your friends will join the KDGA!

Hey Don, sorry to be getting back to you so late. I believe the total count was around 37 or so. Most were young kids and parents in the beginners category. Oberlin doesnt sell frisbees so theirs not many people that really even know what the game is (main point of the tournament). I actually am going back in June to help an organization for helping individuals with health problems put on a disc tournament in Oberlin. Following that I will put on the 2nd Annual Sappa Valley Disc Golf Tournament hopefully sometime in the late summer sometime. I'll give you plenty of head's up this time so you can gather up all your buddies and come have a fun day.
