My spouse has consented to letting me hold a "thing" for golfers at her house. So, it's this coming Sat. evening (4/17), say 6ish. The main activity will be "funky putt", rules by our favorite rule maker, Dave Richardson (forwarned is forearmed). Bring lots of quarters. There will also be some beer drinking involved. I'll have some on hand and you're welcome to bring some too. Don Moore is bringing some smoked brisket. I'll have buns and go withs. According to Rich, we'll all use the same 5 putters which I have. The wife has NOT consented to entertain spouses/girlfriends while we have our fun, in fact I think she has plans to leave the county for the evening, which is probably a good idea. All golfers welcome. Address is 1310 E. 9th. About a block west of El Maguey on the north side of the street.
P.S. The wife has also stipulated that I must cancel in case of major rain. She doesn't want to sacrifice her hard earned back yard to a lot of nonsensical acvtivity, which, I guess, is what we're planning here.
