IMO cliff drive was a good lookin bit of land, they just have too many boring shots out there with a major lack of variety. also i thought the road came into play on WAY to many holes if i was in charge of it i would be making some serious changes to the overall layout :(

Thanks Kevin!

That clears up....everything. Clear as mud. It will be a load of fun playing intermediate my next tournament.

The PDGA is getting more organized, eh? That's great, but it seems that there are too many details and exceptions. How can the system do the greatest good if no one understands it? And this BS about getting rid of the 2m rule and when just about makes me want to tell someone where to stick it. There are just too many better alternatives to justify eliminating this particular rule. What will be next? Pro's playing am? I guess it's the players loss since the am payout is almost pointless at many PDGA events.

Btw, nice finish in KC Grant & Leo. Top notch scores, espescially at WW.

What didn't you guys like about Cliff Dr. What could they have done differently? Why were the scores higher there?

Holes are boring? I'll say that 3 or 4 of the holes were pretty much wide open, but the hillside, wind, and OB obviously came into play. OB makes for better holes usually, IMO. Gives holes a greater scoring variety and makes players think (or punishes them for thinking too long). As for the rest of the course, it isn't manicured like WW, but it did have a number of different looks and shots needed. I thought the fallen tree alley, down under hole (#12), was really cool! Downhill bombs 3 & 4 were pretty fun too.

Cottenokie, lmao, that was longer than the bible!!!

Make that 5. I am not a Cliff Drive fan. My main reason is the neighbor hood it is in. Anytime you have to go down Prospect or The Paseo, I am out.
As for the scores being up, I don't know, I just played safe. Taking 6 birds on holes 1,7,8,12,14,17 and three bogeys on holes 2,5,13 with no OB strokes.

And for the bagger statement Mikey, it was my first PDGA tourny win, as a matter of fact, it was my first win in any tourny and in any division. So to me, bagger is a little harsh!!! :o

Hehe, no offense intended. I obviously was in the dark on the new PDGA tourney rules or whatever.

Also might have been a little "harsh" on the PDGA. They are a great unifying organization for the sport and should be supported.
