Several more discs have been found. Unfortunately not all will make it home. In my possession:
Orange ZFlick: KB
Red 150 ZFlick: Tracy
Orange Gazelle: can't make the name out.
Saw an orange First Run Buzz with a Banger style rim. Can't remember the name on it.

Haven't been back but I'm afraid some of Salina's oldest legends are in danger.

They searched the pond thoroughly. Paper said they even found the disassembled parts to the .22 revolver. They had to of come across a boat load of discs. I just called and left a message with Deputy Police Chief Mansfield. Told him I represented Central Kansas Flyers and wanted to inquire about getting some of our discs back to the rightful owners. We'll see if he returns my call.

channel 12 news last nite said they found a sawed off shotgun parts of a 22 revolver and another gun that was part of an active investigation. nothing about a crane, cement truck, or a boat load of discs, I wonder where they all went ? I can rember at least 10 of mine going in there over the years,

"They" also said "JFK was killed by a single bullet". "Elvis, 2Pac, and Biggie Smalls are all dead". "Man has walked on the moon". etc....

Chief Mansfield called me back. He confirmed "boat load" of discs found. Said they didn't know what they were so they just threw them on the banks for the parks dept to clean up. Suggested I call Steve Snyder. Called Steve and he wasn't aware of any piles of discs laying around. Said he'd ask Bob Ash and get back to me. Suggested I call Saline County Mounted Patrol as they were volunteer cleaners. Too much work for the one disc I threw in there back in the 70's. Most of your discs are officially lost with the crane.

Too bad. I know I have some stuff in there, I can't even remember what they were. Is the new pond going to be the same size, just cleaner?

How did they drain it anyway? Pump the water out? Where did all the water drained out go, to the river?
