I'd be willing to bet there isn't enough bandwidth to support everyone watching at once and it will be choppy the whole time.

Although, I'd be happy to be wrong.

What you want to bet? Being somewhat familiar with this, you might  be able to talk me into a wager. Lets keep it friendly of course. Is there a Discraft disc that you are looking for or want to try? How about dinner on a tourney weekend ($20)?

I'm thinking I might be wrong on this one this year since the service is being provided by a third party and not hosted by they usdgc/pdga itself.

Even the simple dots they have every year can barely keep up with the traffic.

Dinner after a tourney sounds like a fair bet.

Having seen the info once again about the tech., I'm getting hungrier
"This IPTV broadcast will be streaming at 600 Kbps, which ensures a great picture from our venue at Winthrop. The CDN is capable of determining how fast the stream should be delivered to your computer system, but that might take 30-60 seconds to analyze. Therefore, be patient during the first minutes of receiving your signal! Once the data transfer rate is determined, then the signal should be smooth and beautiful."
Your donation is greatly appreciated!

Well its a good thing the pdga realized they can't do everything themselves and finally outsourced something

The USDGC isn't really even that much of a PDGA thing. It's really more of an Innova thing, isn't it?

Yes and no. This year most of the promotion of the sport/event is being handled by John Duesler at the behest of the PDGA. I think that he is doing an admirable job of showing one of Disc Golf's premier events to an even larger audience. 8)

Quality of video is great! I saw some great coverage so far. Too bad I couldn't watch all of it. Saw Babbit hit the post on 1 and Tank birdie 1 as well!
