Valley Center Fall Fest, 9/26/09

During the Fall Festival, September 26th, The Valley Center Chamber of Commerce is Hosting a Disc (Frisbee) Golf Tournament at McLaughlin Park.


· This will be a team event held at McLaughlin Park In Valley Center.
· Four people to a team. Each team will divide into two- two man squads and play best shot doubles. The two squad (doubles) scores will be added together to create a team score. (There will be no extra shot for a single player from a 3 man team.)
· Entry Fee is a Valley Center Fall Festival Button; $3.
· Pre-registration is encouraged due to a limited field of 12- 4 man teams.
· Everyone will play 18 holes– 9 from the regular tees and 9 from alternate tee areas.
· There is a $100 first place prize for any team that wins and an additional prize to the top All-Valley team.
· All teams tied at the end of regulation play will determine the winner by a throw off (closest to the pin).
· All Players must attend the 1pm meeting. 1st round starts immediately after.
· Golf discs will be available for sale prior to the event at the park.

Pre-registration can occur at one of the following locations:
· The Valley Center Chamber Office: 214 W Main; 9 am to 1 pm M—F.
· Dawns Travel– Next Door to Chamber; 1:30 pm to 5 pm M-F
· McLaughlin Park the morning of the event.

Super cheap tournament at $3 per person. Get a team put together!

No fees to pay the dues. If you'll let this one slide, we could do a 10 point thing. I don't see any point in competing with the Shunga though.

I don't think that it would take people away from the Shunga.

You are correct, not enough fees, and no reason to give people a reason to not go to Shunga.

FYI team Jump Putter:
I called the V.C. chamber of commerce today and I'm supposed to be called back about pre-reg. If not I have the day off Friday and will go up there and get us signed up. May play a few courses around the area Friday if I can get away if anyone wants to ride along

As a member of team jump putter I suggest we check out valleys course and see where they set up the alt pads and get familiar with it, I'll be available to go up there at 6 Friday. Also we should decide who will be paired with who.

We are registered.... Players meeting at 1pm sat...Need to get a fall fest button (3$)......Not sure if I'll be able to go up there that late friday, but could show up early sat and throw 9 if you guys want

u could play it friday but the course is really easy so seeing it for the first time sat shouldn't be much of an issue. i think i might just have come and check it out
