str8 wrote:Twelve more days until HISTORY!! Just some more info for you. First, the course has twenty-four new pin placements. We have tried to play as many originals as we can, but this is a dawn of a new era -- A NEW FRONTIER if you will. So be prepared for a new challenge, I myself do not know the exact layout, but there have been several Flying Bison working on it, so I trust it will be satisfactory. Also, for those who don't know, all the asphalt tees we're replaced with concrete tees, fyi.

Second, the player's party will be held at Centenniel Lanes. Eight Dollars all you can bowl from 8:30 - 11:30p, and we will have Lomato's pizza delivered. Cost will depend on how many people are in, but I'd think it be safe to say $7 or less per person. This party is intended for disc golfers, family members, sponsors, and anyone else who wants to come. We will likely have a mini basket set up, with prizes to be given away all night. It will be the party of all parties. Please no outside food or drinks!

Finally, we as a club will be adding $2,500 to the Open purse. I will reserve 50 spots for Open Players, and 70 spots for ams. That means if the Open division fills, there will be a minimum of $50 per person added. I expect registration to fill quickly. If you want a player's pack sign up early. There are only 90 player's packages, you've been warned so no fussing if you miss out. If you want to be guarenteed to play, sign up early!!

REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT 9PM ON FRIDAY. Please make note, NO SATURDAY REGISTRATION!!!
str8 does the minimum $50 per person added in open division include open women, and open masters ?

Looks like I'm gonna have some extra room in the van on the way out. Anyone that needs a ride to Hays between there and Bonner Springs along I-70 let me know. We plan to leave Bonner Springs around 11am Friday and get to Hays around 4pm in time for doubles. We'll be passing through, Lawrence, Topeka, Abilene, Salina... you get the picture.

Be at the park Saturday by 8:30am for the players meeting!!! Tee off is at 9am sharp! No whining if you're late!!

Player Packages can be picked up Friday night between 5-9pm and Saturday night at the player's party 8p-11:30pm unless otherwise announced. Please, don't be that guy in between rounds. We have too much to do!

Also, when I talked to Scott earlier today he said there were 94 pre-reg players, so the player's packages are spoken for. If you are considering playing, I advise you to act quickly. Looks like it will fill this year. We may be able to add one ghost card to accomodate more player's.

See you soon Kansas!

Also, McDonald's provides us with h20 igloos for the course, but this year there were only three available. If we could get three to five more, we should have enough for the course. Also, can someone with a truck pick them up between 7:30-8am at the north store and bring them to the course? Also will need someone to return them and pick them up again Sunday morning.

Thanks,

Str8
