It is never to early to start thinking about this. The only 3 players that I know that want to go and are not yet qualifed are myself, Hemi, and Babbit.
So far in head to head battles here is the score:
(DD Lewisville)-WyCo-Monkey-GBO
Hemi (105)-100-121-194=415 (520)
Smitty (99)-106-107-208=421 (520)
Babbit (---) 110-117-210=437 (didn't play lewisville)
Hemi and I are tied head to head at this point. Throw out Lewisville and the dude has me. Kev is several strokes behind both of us, but his game may be better on the USDGC course.
I know that all 3 of us are talking about Tulsa and KCWO. I really think this is the year that we have 4 players qualify for USDGC(Sprout is already in).
If you want to throw your name in the hat, let me know.

You gonna be able to make it this year Smitty? That would be cool. Kansas could represent well.

I always say if I qualify, I am going.
I doubt that I would use the state rep spot on myself. If Hemi and Kev both qualify, I may just go.

I qualified in Tulsa
Kev qualified in Iowa
Hemmi is on the bouble and may be in from Iowa also?
Looks like Jake may get it, if nobody else wants it.

Hemmi finished one stroke for the 5th spot, but I'm sure he'll do it in KC...I think Nate might want to go as well...

Why not settle it in Beloit?
Would be a great way to attract more players to the KS Championships.

The biggest reason I see is that the course is to easy. Most hole you can drive and putt. We need some 2 shot holes to settle it. That and Hemmi doesn't come to Beloit.
If Hemmi qualifies in KC or Minn we can settle it in Beloit.
Reminds me, I need to get to work on the trophie.

As in, so the winner takes a shot out of the cup?
I forgot all about that.
