Ransom and Dodge City weekend

Yeah, good job schooling these boys in the wind Shan Mann! Was you putting into the wind with that Omega?

What a difference in the scores between the events. What happened to Ron? Is he starting to feel his years?

Did Smitty and Sandy resolve their weekend tie?

What a close race in the womens division! Being so windy, you wouldn't imagine this to be the case.

Looks like you all had fun. Enjoy the rest of your spring break.

A 20-30 MPH wind can make anyone human.

Funny thing about that, I made up 2 strokes on a next to last hole in Ransom to tie the scores. Then facemasked a 15 footer to give him second place. In DC, I layed up on a 20 footer, uphill into the wind, to beat him by only 1.

Stacy and Miranda were tied going into the last hole. With 4 holes to go, stacy had her by 2 strokes. The wind can really level the field.

Not to toot my own horn, but I think that they are to of the more fun events of the year. People that don't make the LONG trip don't know what they are missing. People how do usually leave pretty happy. The Ransom course has 2 classic holes that most people think the trip is woth in it's self. The tunnel of death and the long and skinny (which thanks to Chad, I now know how to play for and EZ 3, just throw 2 midrange shots then drop in.) I also think DC is a course that has many good shots with lots of tuff pin locations. It has many very pretty shots lined by trees.

I was kind of let down with the turnout. Wife and I had a lot invested in custom discs and PDGA fees. We only had 2 people show up, that I think the PDGA lured in a husband and wife team from Tulsa.

Maybe next year the word will spread and we can get over 50 people at both places.

Smitty, I agree, they are great tournies, and the PDGA had alot to do with it for me. I couldn't let your efforts go to waste, thanks again.

Hole 4 in Ransom would be fun to play today. It has rained off and on for 12 hours now, and the "pond" is full to the max.

I beat Stacy for the first time last weekend. It was great. Jeff & I will be back in Dodge next year. Ya'll would have been impressed with Amy from Tulsa. She could rip and kept up with Stacy and i the whole tourney. THanks SMitty. You run some good tourneys.

Fun tourney on Sat. Seems like that Ransom course is overlooked by a lot of people. Dodge too, but I could not get away for that one. Thanks Smitty for your efforts. Great Payout! Discs looked good too!

If there is more than $50 damage,the insurance guy may say the car is totaled

Didn't even kill the damn deer.Would of been kinda cool to show up at Dodge with lunch for everyone strapped to the roof of the ole deer slayer.

DO's was the bomb huh Leo? Seriously I had a really good time this weekend thx for letting me tag along Leo!!! Dodge was alot of fun everyone missed out big time. I never thought I would have seen the things I saw at DO's if anyone is ever in dodge go to that place you wont be disappointed all walks of life I tell ya! I think I beat myself this weekend or maybe the LGS or the BC had something to do with it.........

She did have a Kiddo, and she had only played 1 round in the last 6 months. Maybe I should try that practice routine.

Sandman, yes it was the freakiest place I have ever been too! That lady at the end of the bar was... well hell, I don't know what she was! Thanks for riding along, and for the place to stay! Nothing like a little BC, LGS, and some grilled steak!

The ole deer slayer is totaled

BUT the insurance company is selling it back to me at salvage price($100)so expect to see it at tournaments to come

That car is getting uglier every day
