2008 Kan-U-WyCo - Sunday March 9th

Post by Andy »

Copied from kcfdc.org

Registration is open for the 2008 Kan-U-Wyco

Sunday, March 9th

Entry Fees:

Open - $44
All other Pro divisions - $39
All Advanced divisions - $34
Intermediate - $29
Recreational - $24
Novice - $19

Based on the popularity of this event the past two years and the fact that several players had to be turned away at the event last year, I expect the tournament to fill prior to event day. Preregistration is highly recommended to guarantee your spot. The only way to guarantee your spot is to pay your registration fee. I won't be honoring verbal, phoned-in, emailed or other "hold me a spot" requests.

Online pre-registration service is available at:
http://titledisc.com/
You can go directly to the registration page for the Kan-U-Wyco at:
http://titledisc.com/eventDisplay.php?eventid=312

Players can also pre-register by mail by sending registration information and check made out to:

Tracy Walker
848 S. Elk Ln
Bonner Springs, KS. 66012

Include your -
Division: (please indicate male or female)
PDGA #:
KDGA# (if applicable):
KCFDC# (if applicable):
Name:
Full Address:
Contact info:
- email:
- phone#:

Remember to deduct $2 from your entry fee for each the KDGA and KCFDC when applicable. Also, if you're not a current PDGA member, add the $10 single event fee to your registration.

Thanks Andy-

I hope to make the trip this year. I have never played the Kan-U-WyCo, and look forward to it.

Anybody else looking to go and want to split some gas?

Smitty, I'm going but I don't know if you could handle 3 hours in a car with me.

Bring your big arms....it is Blue Valleys runner up for distance in the city!!

Speaking of runner up, Smitty (Arm Wrestling Runner Up) you may want to think about hitting the weight room before heading this way.

Smitty plays this course well when its raining buckets. I had a decent round in the cold rain there once too. How miserable will the weather be this year? I'd like to go, but I don't know yet. Better not wait too long to register.

The sign-in asks for a KDGA number. I'm a member, but don't have a number nor have I received anything from them yet. Where exactly is this? I would like to go.

You have no KDGA number.

We normally pass out some of the goodies at Discs Unlimited.

Why does the sign-up sheet ask for one?

It was a mistake that we are working on getting cleared up.

The PDGA gives a number, the KCFDC gives a number, some local clubs give numbers. The KDGA has never given a number. There is just no real reason to do it.

For now I would suggest just putting 9999 in the KDGA number field just to let the TD know you are a KDGA member.

WyCo is in Bonner Springs, KS. Right near I-70 and K-7 highway.
