the craft vs. Innova

Post by superq »

For those of that have been playing longer than 7 or 8 years I think we will all agree that things have started to come full circle.

When I first started playing if you were going to drop a bomb you reached into the bag and grabbed a cyclone..(pink or white for me please)

As the years went on you would grab a cyclone 2 or x clone

A few more years passed and suddenly the cyclone was gone and the eagle was flying down the fairway.

Eagle died and the valk had replaced it for the bomb's

Now when I go for the long ball it is all about the flash and crush.

I think that the fact that you can throw either brand for the same shot and basicly the same D is great and it really speaks to how far the sport has come...

Finally cant we all just get along? I mean I remember Babbit crushing his cyclone just as well as I remember how much I hated to se Eric pull a Rhyno out of his bag.(actually I think Kev's cyclone and Eric's cyclone both went about the same distance.)

Dude, the X2 was bad friggn ass when it first came out. The cyclone 2 went to crap and the X2 went in the bag. I can't remember why I quit throwing the x2. I'm guessing thats about the time the new eagle came out and everyone latched on to it for a while. I remember using it for the first time at the 1998 Bowling Green Pro Open. The X2 I think still hung out in the bag for a while though. Im guessing that if i threw discraft I would still have some x2's in the bag whether it be a elite w, q, super b, or whatever else plastic versions you guys have.
