I threw mine (star plastic) yesterday and was throwing it to compare with my teerex. It was definately faster than my teerex. It had about the same stability as a new teerex, maybe slightly more stable, but with a little less glide.

After further review, and several more test discs, I found these to be the same stability, if not a little LESS, than the teerex out of the box. The first one I threw was more stable than the others I threw. Anyway, still much faster than the teerex, and seems to pick up speed, more than usual, on the way down from a hyzer shot. All in all great disc. Still yet to be determined if it will be replacing the teerex.

Destroyer

Post by jtkustomizer »

Well the few times i did throw my star destroyer it went a good 50ft past my star wraith each time.

I recieved my Champion Destroyer just about 5 min ago and it will be staying in the bubble wrap nice and safe. The champion does have a litttle color on the disc the lip is a milky greenish-yellow and the flight plate has a veryvery slight color to it I will be designing my own stamp and get some stamped over the winter or just dye them.

Does any body have any ideas besides the star wars destroyer and battle ships?

Destroyers

Post by jtkustomizer »

The guy that keeps buying the destroyers for outrageous money has spent 2443.64 on 20 of them. The most he has paid so far is 200 and the cheapest one he got was 43....WOW Does this affect the value of mine at all?

Well... according to my calculations that would make yours worth -$100.00. So, if you just want to cut me a check for $95, drop the disc in a flat rate envelope and get it shipped to me, that will work out fine.

He should have just called the factory. For $2443.64 he could have bought 143 if he was paying full price of $17. He would also of had $12.64 left over to eat lunch.

Sounds like someone is a little jealous he does not have a new disc to bomb. Don't worry. Trend shows you will have one of your own in a month or two. It might have a thumb trac or a little stick place to put your thumb, but I am sure you will be fine. :D

Never thrown either. All I need is a Surge and a Pred.

Wonder how many Destroyers were on the lead card at worlds? I know there were a few Preds and Surgeos. 8)

Great Point~! I do believe that the Preds and Surges have been around for quite a while longer though... The destroyer had been out a total of what... 1-2 weeks before worlds? Not too many players would/should add new discs to the bag that close to a t-ment. Tough to beat a Pred though, no matter what it is!

I actually think the point being made was that there were three Discraft sponsored players in the final, compared to the one Innova. At least that is the way i read it!
