Any courses missing a basket?

Post by str8 »

Just caught word of a basket floating around Hays that we believe has a #9 nickel on it. It also has concrete around the base of it. It's not one of ours but thought I'd put a feeler out. It's possible some city pulled a course years ago and they salvaged it, but you never know.

It`s a long way away, but Ponca City`s in town course has lost 2 # 9`s one a machI with additional chains added with cable clamps/the other a Mach II new .Both were removed a little over a year ago(at least)and the local club replaced them with our putting basket.

I haven't seen it with my own eyes, but it's sitting on a well secluded porch in a backyard. I'll see if we can sneak a picture of it and post it.

One of our local golfers got a call from his friend and said that his neighbors had a basket sitting on their back porch. He also said they didn't seem like the type to buy a basket. So, I don't know what type of basket it is, but I'll try to find out.

The Lindsborg baskets are in Winfield because the College was going to scrap the baskets after they pulled them out of the ground. If the College wants them back, the baskets will go back in.
When you have to choose between your woman and discgolf, don`t be stupid-choose the discgolf.

We should see if we could ever have another tourny at Lindsburg.
