Hays Ice Bowl
Parents said don't worry about it - but if anyone wants to be bring any extra food it wouldn't be turned away!
Also, there will be a small article in The Stir about our event, CAT also said there will be someone out there taking pictures!

I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.
Also, $10 bucks of every entry fee will go to The charity, The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. So obviously intermediate won't have a huge payout unless there are a lot of people in it, my advice is to play up a division if anyone is actually concerned about it - I hope not though - this is a charity event after all.Ruder wrote:Sure is.
Saturday February 10th, tee off at 10:00 am
Open 25$
Advanced 20$
intermediate 15$
4 cans of food per mulligan, or $2 dollars per mulligan - but we'll do an unlimited binge of mulligans.
2 Rounds of Singles. We should have plastic to payout the ams.
I'll donate a couple discs for CTP Prizes. Still need a word on if ace fun will be in effect for registered FBDGC members. And will the club payout ams with discs or should I bust some out? Up to you guys. W
And last but not least for this post, if anyone could get this information printed and posted out on the course it would be a big help, but please post that you are doing it in case I beat you to it.
Let's get some feedback, I know STR8 isn't the only other person that posts from Hays, or maybe he is.

If this doesn't tell you how badass the Flying Bison Club is, then I don't know what will.
HOT DAMN!!!
Not only does it describe the day we had ( ) but also how well the Ice Bowl went.
Club members literally 'hooked it up' as players arrived into a weather-proofed pavilion. Army tarp covered all the windows and the two fire places roared throwing heat back and forth across the room. People were showing up quick but the numbers went stagnet at around twenty. The small group didn't discourage anyone and it became a pretty entertaining event.
We had an awesome feast for lunch with food provided from Mom and Dad Beisner and Mom and Dad Ruder. MMMMMM. Even if we didn't have the lunch we could have mugged Chewey for the $223 ace he hit. Yep that is right - another way the FBDGC hooked it up. Another way you ask? Well between a meager town of 22,000 people and a showing of 22 participants we raised $703 dollars for the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Pretty outsanding if you ask me. Food drive took in a little under 50. There were some impressive CTP prizes and there was so much given out today. Next year I hope it is even better and more out of towners come *cough* *cough* we could really do some damage out here.

Driving expence- 20 bucks, give or take.
Entry fee with mulligans- 33 bucks
Feeling of being full from warm soup, buscuits, cookies, with two warm fires, with lots of disc golf friends- wonderful (and did not cost a dime, thanks to Ryans mom, and T-Rudes- food, and Flying Bison Disc Golf Club- everything else!!!! Thanks T-Rude and all you guys for a fun tourney!)!
Seeing bubba (Dusty's dog), run around with Dusty's disc golf bag tied to it, spilling his discs in the horse shoe pit, and leaving stuff all over the place- Priceless!
