1- GBO - 2 great courses in the same park. Good comp, fun at the hotel.

2 - ZBOAZ - 1 KICK A$$ course, and I played very well (that helps).

3 - KCWO - Always fun to match up against the some of the best players in the world.

4 - Beloit - I love hanging out with everyone, cooking burgers, swimming and giving the life guards crap.

5 - PIMP IN Da HOLES OPEN - I just like running the event. It has been growing over the years. This year doing the awards and lunch at the local bar added to the fun.

1. Am Worlds
Everything was great
2. KCWO
Well ran as always - almost my new garunteed tourney of the year to make

3. GBO
Can't go wrong with these courses. I dream about hole 2/6 in my sleep.
4. The Rock
Have always had good times here.
5. Johnny Roberts
If you've played in CO you know why.
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.

My top 5 would be:

1) GBO - Biggest PDGA event in KS, and is only going to get better!
2) Players Cup - This one is a must! If you can make it, DO IT!
3) Beloit - Always a GREAT event!(maybe this year we can have more than 4 Pros for the Kansas State Champs. )
4) ZBoaz - Bad arse course! great event to start the year!
t5) Dynamic Discs Open - 103 players for a 1 day event in Nov. that's awesome!
t5) USDGC - even if they screwed me out of getting my trophy!

The Frizzz? Weak as a disc golf tourney. Pretty fun as a gathering.

If there is an event being left out, it would have to be Hays. A Legend of a course. Ron Rice made it a HUGE event, then it went to the gutter for a few years, now it is growing again.

Weak? No other KDGA tourney will ever see multiple 300+ turnouts.
Fun is why the Friz is #1.{Don`t make me open up a poll}

Problems with the locals has nothing to do with the fact that it is just an average event.

I don't know what Frizz you have been playing the last few years. There hasn't been 300 players in several years.

The Frizzz is fun, but not because of the tourney. The Frizzz is fun because of all the crazy people in the campgrounds.

Go Pratt!

Then of course:

Hays - classic & classy tourney.
Ransom - urban assault disc golf rules.
Rock - cliff shots.
Ponca City - fried indian bread and 700 ft holes.

Granted, I only played about 10 events. They were all fun, really.

Fav Tournys

Post by BlazinPat »

1. Am Worlds - This was just a great experience I learned a lot from this tournament

2. The Memorial - First time going to this tournament and the two courses we played were spectactular and all the top pros are at this tourny too. Very cool

3. Kansas City Wide Open - All of the courses played in this tourny by the ams and the pros were just fun as hell (especially water works, what a course). And this tournament was also run very well.

4. GBO - Just a fun tourny on two fun courses ran very well by really cool people.

5. High Plains Challenge - Also on two great courses out here in Colorado which usually brings in some big pros.
