No mulligans in exchange for food
Corey:
We are well aware that the Foodbank takes food donations but, it has been our Ice Bowl's tradition to help them meet their often overlooked cash needs. Therefore, even though we still encourage everyone to bring food to be donated, we do not allow it to be exchanged for anything, including mulligans.
Come and enjoy some chili and a good time with us. Hope to see you there.

final results coming
Hold on Smitty, I'll get them up as soon as I can.
Between working tax season hours and my pool league responsibilites, I haven't had time to finish all the calculations yet.
Bob-
You told a story about loaning your putter to a guy who lost his. You said "this was against the rules, and that you could only have the discs in your bag that you started the round with."
I don't think this is true. As long as you gave him a legal disc, he could throw it as much as he wanted with out penalty. By legal, it would have to be marked (probably had your name on it). You could also stop by a vender or your vehicle in the middle of a round and get a new disc, and throw it on the very next shot if you wanted.

Loan of a disc
Smitty:
Actually it was a Champion Edition Eagle and he beat me with it.
I'm fairly certain that you are correct in saying I was wrong when I basically said that you had to play the round with the discs you started with.
On the other hand, rule 802.01(f) mentions that the disc must be "uniquely marked" (I had to look this up). Since it had my mark on it, someone could argue that he couldn't have thrown my disc without adding his "unique" mark.
I'd wouldn't want to argue this one if money was on the line. Good thing this was a fun tournament and nobody in my division really cared.
Thanks for keeping me on my toes. Give me a call (316/264-6111) and I'll tell you about an interesting rules discussion I was involved with last Tuesday.
