Wow a piece of rubber in the middle that you don't even touch with your grip??? What the Hell is the point of that? Looks pretty stupid to me

Why would they call it an ultra grip when ya don't even touch it?

:?: I personally put my thumb in a little further than where they have the grip spot, but most of the people I see play, have their thumb in that spot. I thought you 2 fingered? That looks like the perfect place for a two-finger grip. But, IMO, they should double the size.

But who cares? It's a freekin' Z SURGE!

Is it not in the center of the disc? Thats what it looked like on the picture..
Or is down by where ya grip it? That makes more sense if it is 8)

I still have not even seen a surge yet...Kinda tough living in Innova country :(

Yeah It's close to the rim... Image Image

Like I said, it needs to be about double the size to accommodate my normal driving grip, but pimp anyways, keep the tech advances comin' Discraft!

It should be bigger, but that will work for my grip.

Why don't they put the grip on the underside of the rim?

I think that would cause inconsistent throws(as it would make your fingers stick to the disc, instead of ripping off it) and wear off too easily, having it there on top increases the consistency of grip pressure on your fingers.
