You must be thinking of Garden City, we burn hair of cattle here in e-town. And so everyone else out there is not confused, the baracades are to keep vehicles out of the park...not people. We play disc golf year round here in Emporia....Accept no substitute, Emporia is the place!!

Apart from being spolied with 3 Golf courses, I find the town lacking in "culture".... I guess thats just the Lawrencite talking.... but this town is pretty boring. I mean, if I want to see a good movie, I gotta drive to topeka or Lawrence. If i need to go shopping, I gotta drive to topeka. If I want a new record, i gotta drive to Lawrence. If I want to see an art show, or actually decent theatre, or or or...... I think you get the picture.
