2005 schedule
What do people think about the new schdule?
If there is a big problem with it would a group of people be willing to meet is a central location and get the schdule set? Befare the end of the year.
A few questions came up about the current schdule.
Ponca? They requested to be on the same weekend as Windfeild and are willing to pay the KDGA fees.
Where should the Banqutte be at next year?

I personally would like to see the Championships in a different location every year...(Like the Super Bowl or Olympics)....Maybe we should have nominations and then a final vote every year....We can target the bigger towns like Wichita, Hutch, Emporia, Salina, Hays.....and even some of the smaller towns might be good for getting a banquet hall for a little less expensive but just as nice as the Holiday Inn....Such as Newton, McPherson, Winfield, Pratt, Beloit.....Those are just the ones that I think of that I've played.......that's not including all the Eastern courses that could bid for the Championships......Maybe an excellent way to get the East involved......I sure would be more likely to join if I knew the Championships was in my back yard......Find out who's all interested in hosting a Championships and then nominate them.....This is maybe too late for the 2005 schedule but something to think about for the years to come.

I'm with Dyck on this one. The skins course has been different (and awesome) every year. I think my favorite set up (only seen last 4 years) was 2003 at Herman Hill. Those were some extreme holes! Skip a hole at Herman Hill's current config is just as killer.
I liked it in Salina too, and if a strong majority wants to have it there every year, that's cool. It should be in or near the same town as the last tourney, of course. I do like the idea of moving it around, but it has to be easy enough for most members to get to and big enough to make some long, crazy holes.

Smitty,
Great work man, I'm not even a current member and I can see how much hard work you put into the KDGA. If I am right Sandman is from Hays. It looks to me like that region, region 2, has one more tourney then the region that Winfield is in. We accept your apology Sandman, we know you speak before you do your research. Lets all remember that disc golf is a game that is suppose to be fun. If an outsider where to look at this forum they would think we are some little pu$$'s. Let’s not bring this great game down. There are people that will hit every tourney no matter how far away they are, or on what weekend and will have a blast even if they take dead last. More people need to take this same attitude.

Is there anyone out there who still plays this game because they like disc golf and/or the people???All this bickering seems kind of PETTY!!!
I plan on playing (in the KDGA) if there is 1 tournament a year or 365.
Hope to see everyone on the courses.

Sandman KDGA membership
Sandman, you've got to sign-up for 2005!
I need a lofty target to try and beat next year.
Master Dyck just isn't enough competition for a great disc golfer like me.
Seriously; you've been a KDGA member as long as I can remember and at my age that's getting shorter each year. I would personally hate to see you not renew for 2005.
P.S. Sorry Master Dyck for the little rub there.
I hope to beat you at least once next year even if I have to kick you in the knees. You always seem to find that last stroke when I have a chance.
Don't forget the TICK RANCH scholarship tournament on 12/18.
Look forward to seeing everybody there and at Colwich.
