I tried to get the lake talked into letting us use some additional land to make a course that I feel worthy of being played in a PDGA event and they were disinclined to acquiesce to my request so... we are pulling the baskets for a week and moving them to Big Shunga. If anyone is interested the course will be set up this Friday night and we will be doing some work on Sunday. 8)

The course is ready.

Shot it for the first time last night pulled off a 57 with 4 dueces. There might be as many as 6 oppurtunities out there.

The directions to the course:

I would do a mapquest on 29th and mcviccar if you are not familiar with Topeka

29 street to mc viccar
First drive way west of mc vicar on the north side of 29th is the parking lot
You will see a large break in the tree line to enter the course after you park.

Friday night I will be there by 3pm and Saturday I will be there by 7am.

Any questions give me a call 785-383-2469

Man I can not believe you still arent going to come down. The course is not to be missed. I am going to use the tournament to help push the city to let us have the Big Shunga park permanantly.

Sup Q,

Big Shunga is up and rollin', eh? I don't know if I'll be able to do this weekend or not. I've always heard good things about the event.

How is the course? You say 6 legit. birdie ops? What is the length? How many holes over 400? 500? Is there much O.B.? Is the design the same as used in previous years? What is an average pro score out there? 57?

It is rollin I posted the distances in the topeka area but they have change I had a few holes that were just not challenging enough so overall I think the length is in the 8500 neighborhood there is 1 hole under 300 I think 6 that are 3-400 and the rest are over 400 maybe 3 that are 500+ If you are wanting to go you might talk to Jason I know that he is coming and looking for some car pool action.
