06 AM Worlds Question

Post by SmoothDrawOS »

When does PDGA event points start counting for the 06 AM Worlds? Or do they already start to count towards it?

all PDGA events you play in 2005 earn you points for AM Worlds 2006.

Paul - Thanks

Anyone know a rough point total where they draw the cutoff.

You can always get in on the wait list if all else fails.

If you play 6 to 8 PDGA events, you will probably get enough points to get an invite. It is not that big of a deal to get invited.

You will probably have more chances to play PDGA events when you go to school.

Alright, i'm just really hoping I can make the points since it'll be close to Kansas in 06.

There's two B events in Oregon and Washington in September, so i'll try and hit those. That should help.

You need to be in the top 25% of points in your region. So it depends on how many events are in your region, yada, yada, yada.

Check out the PDGA site. On the front page, there is a link to the invitees for this year. They also spell out the qualification standards for all of the pro and am divisions.

OK, can a non-PDGA member become a member in January and still get in thought the waiting list?

I would say yes. Usually you can sign up before Jan.
