Sat. May 3, 2008 - KDGA Super Tour - Pratt, KS - May Dennis Park - North Mound Street

18 holes (classic layout) in the AM
--1 hr lunch break -- (sponsor pending)
18 holes (long layout) after lunch

We plan to do 2 am and 2 pro CTPs (worth about $40 each).

I talked with the Pratt Parks Director today -- they've worked very hard this spring to get the limbs cleaned up from the December ice storm. The place was a wreck in December/January. We're very thankful for their help!

They plan to have the bathroom de-winterized in time for our tourney.

We have some cleanup, mulching, and other minor repairs that will be made over the next week to 10 days.

This year's event will not be a PDGA event. We are working to raise funds for added cash again. Our target is $500.00 added cash and about $100.00 worth of added plastic/prizes.

We'll keep you posted as things move along. It's right around the corner!!

FYI Hole 10's basket is all fixed up. The anchor was in sandy soil and had tree roots below it push it up. I moved it over a bit, dug out the sand, put in some clay soil, rocks and a fair amount of cement. It shouldn't go anywhere now!!

Hole 3 and 4 will have new anchor positions, utilizing the Southwest corner of the park (for the afternoon "long" round). The morning round will be the good ole' classic layout.
