I think that it would be a shame if someone didn't run an event in D.C.
I have done it as PDGA before, and it didn't draw many more than what it would have without.
I don't know what shape the course is in. If all the baskets are there or not.
We always added 3 holes, and it had good flow.

Drove by the course about 2 weeks ago and all the baskets are still in. looks like someone did some repair on basket #2 because it looked in bad shape (all bent up) last fall.

If it doesn't work to pair Haviland with Dodge, I would be glad to run a tourney in Ashland. I could maybe even get some local sponsors if I know the date in plenty of time. It's about the same distance from Haviland but would be good to get a new course involved in the Oz Tour.

Mastah - Let's keep the Ashland idea open. Tell us about the course... #/type of baskets, pads, etc...

The Ashland course is located on the High School grounds right along Hwy 160 on the west end of town. There are 12 home-made baskets. One concrete (sidewalk) tee and the rest are grass or dirt tees with a 4"x4"x4' piece of lumber anchored in the ground. They are painted "caution orange". The distances are between 200' and 500'. Very little elevation change, no water hazzards, but lots of trees as the main obstacles. A very challenging course. Bathrooms available when High School is open. There's a convenient store and a pizza place about a block away from the course. Score cards/maps are available at the High School office.

Mastah, do you still live near Ashland?
Also - have you thought about getting the course listed on PDGA + KDGA directories?

I live in Moundridge but visit Ashland at least every other week.
Is there any way someone could come up with a list of all the information that is needed about a course to add it to the KDGA web site? I would gladly get all the info to whoever could add it. I just need to know what info they need.
