ICE BOWL MERCHANDISE

Post by beisner »

** We must place our Ice Bowl 2007 Merchandise order by Jan 7. **

After club play this week, we need to go over our wishes for Ice Bowl 2007. Here are things to consider:

(a) Fee structure
Player Pack to 1st 25 registrants (no early registration)... only 1 DX disc, upgrade to Z/Star for add'l $5 (keeping entry fee low)
Determine $/head going straight to charity out of entry fee...
All Prizes are Plastic.
All funds collected which exceed total costs for merchandise & supplies for this event will be donated to the charitable entity.
Sell IceBowl2007 minis, towels, shirts separately (not in player pack)

(b) Mulligans:
funds go straight to charity pool.
limited to Round 1
quantity limits? (per player, per team, per hole...)
liberal or not?

(c) Random Draw Dubs or Pro/Am Dubs?

(d) CTPs
which holes? what for prizes? Give away PDGC plastic.
optional buy-in to participate in CTP (as add'l donation straight to charity pool)

(e) Lunch @ ( fill in sponsoring restaurant here )
Woodies?
Pizza Hut?
Beanz?
Break Room?

(f) Keep Pratt Food Bank as the charity

Spoke w/ Pratt Parks Director today.

Here's the latest:

Parks Committee meets 1/22/2007, and City Commission meets 2/5/2007. We will begin installing after the 5th, barring any issues.

He doesn't foresee any issues, just needs to go through the proper channels to get final OK.

Our plans have changed a bit: we're going to hold onto the DGA anchors for future use in May Dennis and/or other future courses. Instead, we're going to bury some capped pvc anchors in Lemon+Sixth Street Parks, which we'll uncover each year for the ice bowl.

Parks folks were fine with that, thought it sounded like a good idea.

That is a good idea. It will save you money, and make the course at May D better.

Parks Advisory board met, approved installation of anchors for ice bowl events. Pratt City Commission met, approved the same. This happened Feb 5, 2007.
Feb 17, 18 and the 23rd, the Pratt Disc Golf Club will be doing work-days to prepare Lemon + Sixth St. Parks for the Feb 24th Lemon Park Ice Bowl.

18 MachV baskets are in-hand for the Ice Bowl & Supertour KDGA 2007 events.

See the KDGA Forum Tournaments Section for event details.
