Post by Sandman »

1. I would like to see some pins changed every once in a while but I think that would be too much............omfg

2. Some type of a connection with the parks and recreation..................

3. Me and Tracy to start a league on Sundays.

4. Tracy to want to start a league on Sundays.

5. To play on Sundays against Ron Rice and Tracy Ruder.

Tracy is the only player he respects enough to derive pleasure from winning against. It may seem savage, but we got to protect the disc golf egosystem.

Yeah Im in love with him you figured me out.........
Anyway back to the thread.

Actually both of you are wrong!!! Me and T. Rude have talked about starting a league on sundays but for some reason we havent got around to it. But then again we cant even get 1 pin changed a month cuz its a big hassle apparently..............pretty cool when you have a course with all these alt pins and you never get to play them.

So who has the keys to your baskets? Shouldn't you or someone in the club have a key?

What club???
Thats the way I feel too but I suppose they would throw liabilites at us and all that lawsuit bullsh1t. As far as who has the keys......you got me on that one. I think they(parks & rec.) just blow smoke up our arse just to make us happy when tourney time comes around. Guess how many years ago they promised to replace those POS asphalt pads??? 3 farking years ago thats ridiculous!!! And now their talking about another course......give me a break!!! How about fix the one we already have then move on to bigger and better things.

Let's get Ron Rice to start a league!
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.

Yes indeed, time to get motivated. I sent another email to Jeff Boyle and asked him to rotate the pins every two weeks and if they don't have the time to give me a key so we can do it ourselves.

So what do I want?

1. A direct answer from the CVB about our grant status.

2. A cohesive group effort to: help solicit sponsors, fold and stuff envelopes for invites/news releases, chalking OB and pins, placing sponsorship tees, adding scorecards, folding and stapling player's booklets, help pressing t-shirts, moving pins between rounds, and organizing a stellar player's party.

3. Contact Jeff Boyle: [email protected] and professionally encourage the need for alternating pins regularly and replacing the asphault tees. (strength in #'s approach)

4. A league and a club.

5. Coordinate a date with Hays Rec for a DG clinic.

6. Recruit locals to play and participate in the tourney.

7. See Ron Rice playing again!

As long as the new players are treated like they matter they will come back and play.

Cladio is a cool dude, and I had a blast playing with him. If you had a league, he would play in it.

You may want to avoid the weekend for a league. It may make a few people mad if they showed up to play, and everyone was gone for the weekend.

I cannot belive they will not give you a key. What is the big deal??? Eric had atleast 3 keys to the Emporia course.

The thing you need the most is trash cans. Your course looks like crap! I picked up a beer can per hole the first round that I played. Once you get a league, the first thing you need to do is have trash day.

I saw claudio at the demo derby last night we talked a bit he would play your right Smitty.

Ive always thought that a sunday and a monday league would work out.

And like I said before I guarantee the liability thing will come into play.

And yes our course does look like crap!!! It is impossible to get people to not to throw trash on the ground Claudio and all his boys are definitely adding to the mess too....go figure. Oh and the gay magnet you gave me is now toast i cracked it yesterday two mags in two months!!!!! ARGH!!!
