Anybody got ript lately???

I got ript today with Ruder and Joey a couple times actually....... it was pretty cool except when I threw my drive on original 16 to the alt pin after I had moved the tee 60 feet from its previous location. Then LiL Jon throws his drive back to hole 15's pin then hands me a card that says "switch lies". So I had to take his BS lie when he gets my easily parable drive. I took a five. And I had a pretty good shot on my third that I had to rethrow b/c numnutts hands me another card that says "throw the same shot again with a different disc". To top things off I had to throw a T-chicken on hole 18 and putt out left handed WHEW!!! I think i shot 7 over!!! Tracy and Joey lost count!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Getting ript today was stressfull.........

That game is good times..if you have enough people to play.

There was only 3 of us but it was good for some laughs..... next time will be interesting since we all know how to play that stupid game now. It was a pretty good time tho.

First time it has ever taken me 3 hours to get Ript.

Where can a guy get a deck of them RIPT cards???

I don't know of anyone selling them locally yet.

Ended up costing $10 after shipping. It is a pretty fun variation of the game, so it is worth trying out. If Sandman likes this happy sh*t then it must be alright.

You got to play it once to learn all the cards and what to expect. There are a few things that are loosely interpreted that you should probably clarify before the game starts such as...

Do you get your card for CTP after the throw or after the hole?

Can cards such as "switch lies" or "move lie" effect whether or not you get the CTP for the hole? I would say no.

Can cards that make you "rethrow from the tee" effect whether or not you get the CTP for the hole? I would say yes.

The mando card is the only card that says it can't be negated. Does the mando maker get to designate a drop zone anywhere? He could make it 1000' away and that would be rediculous, just as it would be to throw in the wrong direction just to switch lies (cheating).

Can you cancel a cancel card? I would say yes.

Stuff like that...

Mike's right I would highly recommend playing it first to get the idea cuz there is a lot of glitches. One we ran into was "drive with your putter and putt with your driver". Soo what can I upshot with??? It is a good time tho.

Cards are handed out for CTP and for only birdie, if there is one, after the completion of the hole....

"Switch lie card" the card player gets the CTP- "Move lie" If you have the CTP than no matter where they move you within the 10 paces, its still your CTP

If you miss the mando, I always play drop zone directly behind the mando, throwing 3...... or you can unwind. Pick your poison!

Cancel a cancel card away if you desire, btw very interesting idea. I'll have to incorporate that into my strategy next time

Upshot with any disc you want as long as you are not putting.....
