I like most of them both ways.

#10 Good from both pads and both pin locations.
#11 Good on the original, not bad from alt. tee to original, sub par to the alt. from either tee.
#12 Fine all the way around.
#13 Good to the original from both pads, short and right good from both pads. Up left makes you wonder.
#14 Kick A$$, to the Alternate from both pads.
#15 Original is a classic hole. I like the alt. pad to both locations. I am not a big fan of original pad to alt. basket, but I have played much worse holes.
#16 SWEEEEEEEET! Alt. pad to original. GOOOOOOD from Original to alt. and original.
#17 I like it from the original to the Alt., much tougher then the original.
#18 I like all the pin locations. The deepest one is super sweet. You don't want to miss the putt and end up in the bottom of the creek.

I think that all the changes are good. They are good changes of pace from the course. When the ground is finally dry and some grass starts to grow, they will be more enjoyable.

Hole 7 is the pad that makes you scratch your head. Take a chainsaw to that pole, and it would be sweet.

The design for the new 18 tees and 18 pin placements was masterful. When one configuration has already been set, it is tough to make a whole new set of tees and move the basket so as to be a good shot 4 different ways. The new tees offer even more challenge and sets this course apart as one of the true pro calibur courses.

The alt pins were playing tough as hell this past week which I think is a good thing. You better get your birds on the front cuz theres not many on the back. Smitty your right about 7 I hate that hole but we wont talk about that anymore cuz I gets riled up too easy about that one!!! I thought hole 1 was a little stupid also but it has grown on me a bit.(Both holes gots poles!) As for 15 original to the alt. that hole has grown on me too last week me an Tracy both birdied it and yes it was a first for us both! I still wish 12 would have went across the street but theres always time for improvments. All in all I think most of the holes are very challenging.

How old is that picture? Sure does look nice and green.

Depends on the course.... Even is usually a great Am score I suppose.

A good score for an am at Hays originals originals is probably between even and 4 up.

Where they pins are now at half and half, probably the same, maybe add a stroke more because even though they are tougher, they are still pretty easy pars. Until that dern wind blows.

The wind blows in Hays? Who would have thought.
