On a side note:

I just purchased a new magnet from Wal-Mart. You'll be seeing this bad boy makin some par saves at a course near you.

Well, they moved four baskets today, 11, 12, 13, & 14. But as usual I never heard a reply from Jeff. I'm going to go to a city commision meeting this month to solicit any support we can get. I'll keep you posted.

Played some stick golf yesterday. You won't believe what not playing for 6 months will do for your game. Shot 50 and 43. Beat my dad on the back 9. He's usually pretty good, he drives well over 300.

I did better with the irons. That's usually were I get in trouble. Long chips did me in this time. I was able for the first time to shape my drives how I wanted. Left to right, right to left, straight... all depends on your stance.

Played a few holes with discs. Hit the stick at any height and it counts. Par 3's were easy 3's. Par 4's were 4 or 5. Par 5's were 5-7. I can see playing a whole par 70 course in about 80-85 shots with a disc. That's alot better than I can play it with a ball!

Well, I asked the parks dept. to move the back 9 to original placements, and the front nine to alternate locations. Went and played yesterday and all the pins are in original locations. Which led me to believe one thing; to ding a lang dang my dang a long ling long???????????????????????????????

I went to the city commission meeting tonight and asked for any support the city could give us for the Tournament. They told me that the Parks Department and the CVB would be the organizations to talk to. Wayne Billinger asked Jeff how much money the parks department used to contribute to the tournament and Jeff said he'd check the records. So maybe we can get some additional funding there. I also told them that I'd applied for a grant with the CVB but had never heard a reply. So I'll keep on them as well. It seems that the mayor and assistant mayor are Ron Rice supporters. So the overall experience was very positive.

Application to ESU? is that like trying to get a job at a gas station? I really didnt think ESU had strict entrance requirements except for masters programs...
