Always a good time playing golf in Hays. It was a real battle. Team Blue Thunder talked about the round after we were done. We felt like we all made 1 or 2 key shots.
It was great to play, I love that couse, the more that I am away from it. I alway took it for granted when I lived so close. There are some "classic" holes on that puppy. 3, 6, 9, 11, 12, 15, all great holes.
Ka-boom! Team Blue Thunder is amazed at the simplicity of this game...well maybe not, but we did have a great time today. The course was in great shape and the weather was even better. It was great to see everybody out there. Ruder it was fun to get a chance to play a rd with you (that was a great drive on #6). Smitty, if you want to continue your tenure as a member of team Blue Thunder stop asking me if you should "go for it" and when I say no, doing it anyway (I don't like the tester putts).
Great times.
We had some trouble with the alt shots - not enough chances to come back on the last 6 holes. Joey and Trav probably won the putting trophy today, in my opinion. Overall there was a lot of good shots and I look forward to the 3rd installment of the series.
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.
