Scout House Meeting, August 3rd, 6:30pm

There will be a meeting on Wednesday, August 3rd, 6:30pm, at the scout house, to discuss the progress and future of the restoration.
Lea McCloud is President of the Oak Park scout house (formerly fresh air baby camp) restoration group and has been communicating progress with me. As seen on the news recently, it looks like this project has made it past the approval stage and is now in the funding / planning stage. I told Lea to let me know when it came time to ask for volunteers for this and it sounds like that will part of what this meeting is for. If you can donate time or resources, or if you'd just like to know more about what is happening, please try to attend. Many efforts have been made by this group already and every bit of interest makes a difference. If you can attend, please bring a chair. Refreshments will be provided.
