How is it that a club about the 1/4 size of wichitas, If they are even that big, Can get organized and get signed up for the ace race and Wichita can't? Wellington club already has thier ace race signed up and on the PDGA schedule. Looks like thats where we will have to go this year to play the race.

I think that folks is Wichita need to give the people in charge a break. Yes Wellington is having an Ace Race but they are not running the Round Up in November or the finals the following day. You have people who are helping the KDGA with all of the tournaments that are going on with Mike updating points and Bob working with the PDGA. You also have league available every Tuesday and Thursday. If you want to complain about not having an Ace Race that is fine but don't complain to the people who make all of other events happen. If you want an Ace Race in Wichita so bad then ante up and run one in Wichita. Just my two cent from the cheap seats. And yes I am a club member in Wichita.

It's the middle of prime disc golfing season and the people volunteering their time and effort have a life outside the club. Please keep that in mind amidst your criticism. I would love to see more organization with our club, but we lack people-power.

I am the new events coordinator for the ACDGC. I can't claim to be all knowing as I'm brand to new the position, but I haven't heard anything about an Ace Race in Wichita. Our next Board meeting is not happening until after Worlds. I'll be sure to update you on the status then.

Once again Iqbal proves again why so many people from wichita don't like to play in Wichita events. I never atacked any one personaly I just asked a simple question as to why an ace race event isn't planned. Yet Iqbal has to come up with a personal atack again. Meranda The job you are doing is fantastic and well appreciated and we are glad that you have taken some of the reins in heading up some of the tasks of the club. I have tryed to get involved in the club and people never changed their attitude towards me so I don't get involved any more. WHY SHOULD I ?

I just raise the question then if you are not involved then don't come on the Wichita message board and try to smear the club. And by the way you did point fingers at the club saying they can't get their stuff together for the ACE Race. A quick glance at your first post may help you notice this.

Rumor had it that Winfield may have snagged the finals from Wichita. Did the KDGA ever talk more about that, Smitty, Mace or Mike?

WOW!! Looks like some things never change. I've been away for a year and it's like I never left. PPL biotching about the club not doing enuff, but dont want to help. Other ppl biotching bout other ppl.... And lizard, you got me fired up now. Wichita ppl dont support wichita golf???? I went to club the other nite and had to be close to 25ppl!!!! I dont play much anymore so mabye my oppinion dont mean snot these days, but if you dont like the way its run, then by all means....start another league, join another league, whatever you think is right......THE CLUB IS IN AS GOOD OF SHAPE AS I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! The ppl running the league CARE!! (too much maybe) Just shut up and play golf and not spend all day on here writing posts about stuff that nobody cares about
