Membership drive is on for this Sunday and looking good!

Scott Miller has lined up food from Kroger for us. He is also looking into a plague that will record the history of champions.

Remember, whoever shoots the low score on one round of short tees gets the title of 2008 ACDGC champion, so it's anyone's to claim.

Crispin and Peter and Bangrrr Bob are working up some nice trophies for everyone. Be sure to thank all that volunteer to make this happen.

Weather looks good. Hope to see ya Sunday! 12:30 at Oak.

Here is how the ACDGC membership works each year:

The earliest you can sign up (for 2009) is at the Membership Drive, which is held in October.

The latest you can renew your membership for $10 instead of $15 is at the Ice Bowl, which is usually in February.

Membership lasts through April of the following year. So if you signed up in 2008, you are good through April of 2009. Memberships starting this Sunday will last through April of 2010.

The membership drive is the BEST time to sign up though, with the free meal, great deal on a disc, free tourney, chance to be ACDGC year champion. Oh yeah, the Ace Fund WILL be in effect. Currently at $267.

I have one unfortunate thing to report.

4 discs have come up missing.

All disc sales were recorded and the money came out exact to the dollar. Disc inventory was made before and after the event.

2 Pro Destroyers
1 Star Destroyer
1 Star Max

This is basically a $50 loss to the club. At 27 $5 discounts = $135, it's not like the club wasn't doing enough for this event. I try to make sure we have a large selection of discs everyone wants, but this kind of stuff makes it difficult.

I keep telling ya mike you got to figure a way to do your paper work at the back of your car where you can keep an eye on your trunk. Or don't open it untill you can. or have some one do it for you and take money at the trunk.
