Sun. 7/27 1PM Herman Hill 18 Holes, Safari Tees

The Carrascos and I flagged 18 tees today. Most of them are shorter, but play through more trees than the regular tees. Roughly the length of the short tees. Way shorter than last time we played skins. Should be some pretty fun shots. The lines are definitely different from the normal ones for most of the holes.

We can play it by ear, but I think it would be fun if we did skins again. For $10, here is how we could play it....

$.25 Skins x 18 holes = $4.50 per man.
$.50 added to the last hole per man.
$1.50 per man for best overall score.
$.50 per man for most pushes.
$1.00 CTP hole 8.
$1.00 CTP hole 15.
$1.00 longest shot made for the round.

If a third or less tie for the best score, the hole pays out. If more than a third tie for the best score, the hole pushes. The last hole pays out to everyone with the best score.

Lets meet up around 1pm and we'll get going shortly thereafter.

so how did it go? how did the holes play out?

We played it pretty much like I mentioned. We made 1st place a dollar and 2nd place $.50 a man. We got 8 players and decided we would pay out skins for any hole 3 or less players tied for the best score.

We started on hole 2 and ended on 1.
Hole 2: Crispin took a skin.
3: 4 man push. Peter got longest putt at about 60'.
4: Crispin & Ben split 2 skins.
5: 4 man push
6: Bo & Mike split 2 skins.
7: Crispin took the skin.
8: Buddy & Crispin split the skin. Buddy got CTP.
9: 7 man push.
10: 5 man push.
11: Josh took 3 skins.
12: Bo got the skin. Incredible birdie from this difficult tee.
13: Crispin took the skin.
14: 7 man push.
15: Chad got 2 skins. Josh got CTP.
16: 7 man push.
17: Crispin skinned it.
18: Mike, Ben, & Peter split a skin with a 3. This was the only hole 3 won skins.
1: Chad & Crispin made incredible 2's to take the last skin & the 2 bonus skins.

The course was certainly different than the normal one. A bit shorter and a lot more trees in play. Most everyone said they enjoyed it.
