Iron-Man 1 Disc Event

Post by jtkustomizer »

I will be planning a Iron man 1-Disc, 1-Round event in the near future.

You can chose any one disc that you would like to play with.
Any disc will work Putter,Mid,or Driver. You chose what you play with.
All shots must be made with that one Disc.
If you lose your disc you are out of the running for the prize/cash.

Entry will be $5.00
I would like to have a Pros and ams seperate but if there isnt enough Pros or Ams everybody will lumped together.

This will be a winner take .5 and 2nd takes .3 and third gets the rest event and I would like to do it this sunday at Oak Park around 1:00 but I need to know who all will show up before I actually go thru with this Event.

Yes, I will be going to winfield so no Iron man event this weekend. Maybe during the week, but I doubt it.

And the following weekend I will be in a Racquetball tournament.

Why is it called Iron Man? Isn't that term associated with an endurance contest? Carrying one disc doesn't sound that rough.

By what course, I meant what set of tees do you want to play. Might make a difference on disc selection.

I havent decided on what course yet.

Mike-What would your disc selection be for the different courses be.
1.Short
2.Long
3.Red
4-Blue
5.Long-Including Pro Tee

I would more than likely use a buzzz or impact for all of the above still trying to decide.

I also want to do a putter only event but that will be after the Iron Man.

Maybe I should have called it the Iron-Disc Event

On a shortish course, a putter would be the preference.

On a longer one, I would say a slightly understable driver.
