5 players showed up for near perfect conditions. Cool & Light Winds. Just some wet grass.

Why is attendance so low? Nobody keeping up with the radar? Seems like we get a gang of golfers when it is nice. Earlier in the year and last year, we were doing good even when the weather wasn't.

Can't run league tomorrow. Car is in the shop. I was coming home after picking the discs up at Bob's office and my car became more and more difficult to move and I started smelling something burning up. Think the caliper is locked on. Might be time for some new wheels, or perhaps some new wheels. May not make 200k after all...

Whoever runs league needs to keep $1.50 per man and record who plays and what the scores were. Scorecards work OK as long as you have them all (if you have them at all). Scheduled for singles, long tees.

Thanks for running league Miranda! I probably won't be able to make it on Thursday either.

Hole #4 red tee to long pin (313') with one crazy low anny with a champ sidewinder that kept on turning! Heard it, but the bottom of the basket is blind. When we got to the top of the hill, we could see there was nothing in the basket. But then we caught a glimpse of something hiding behind the pole. Woohoo! My last 5 aces have been at ACDCG league.

Iqbal hit an ace on hole 1 worth $136!

8/20/09
Derby
Mike ran it

14 Players
Light winds

Open ( 8 )
Ben Maass: 51
Ben Wiggins: 56
Iqbal: 57

Wussie Old Dudes (2)
Dave Rich: 54

Handicap (4)
Micah: 58-11=47
Bob D: 67-11=56

Had a lot of OB questions / issues. Gravel road OB line, Barbed wire not OB, yards to right on 17 not OB?, Playground on 7, Creek(s) on 9, Water on green on 12. Some of those tees have been moved around a little too. We'll go over it before next league.

Playing short tees at Oak tonight. Ace fund is around $350.

I will be there to run it. We will tee at 5:45 and should be fine finishing before dark. We'll minimize 4-somes. DON'T BE LATE.

Jr. Jump Putter Cameron Unruh shot a career best round of 63 at Herman Hill on Tuesday at league. 39 (-15) with his handicap, got second in the Am division by one stroke.....kicked dad's arse, I only shot -6.
