Come out to work on Saturday and you can complain as much as you want.

Mike, I was going to install my "NO LIZARDS" sign. I think that would be a tremendous improvement to the courses here in Wichita.
And yes I am waiting for a misspelled rebuttal.

Oak Park is TRASHED! It has been since about a week after the tourney. After the 4th, it is now worse than ever.

Plenty of trash containers out there to get this picked up. Let's try to take care of this at league. We can't leave it like it is. If you see someone trashing the course, let them know you'll call the police if they don't stop.

Wow Filled a walmart bag of crushed cans from just one hole. That park is getting nastey . Hole 6 short stinks like holy hell. People need to stop pissin by the tee pads. What the hell is wrong with some of these discers. I thought disc golf is suposed to be a low impact (on the enviroment) sport. I have never seen a Ball golf course with trash and total lack of respect like you do at Oak. Hell I have never seen It that bad at any other disc golf course.

Why cant people pack out the crap that they bring in? I truley wish the city would Require the club to pull the pins and only allow them to put them up for league and tourneys. then maybe people would appreciate the course and respect it.

Saw a bunch of guys playing today that were drinking beer they went through a 12 pack but they didn't have a single empty can with them at the end of hole 18. I asked them where there cans where and they said they set them down next to trees like that was ok to do.

Why aren't Bags handed out every time league is played at Oak and herman hill ? ? ?

I filled up 2 bags just from holes 1-5 last night. I also talked to 3 big groups about keeping the park clean; they agreed.

I don't think league players need to be responsible for picking up after the casual players. Just keep doing your part Lizard. Karma will catch up to the litterbugs

I want to nominate lizard as the official trash police of oak park.
We could give him an old rusty scooter and a whistle so he can get around a quickly and toot his horn at the offenders.

Wow, Thanks Miranda, and Lizard for putting in time to help clean up after the litter bugs using this park.

Please let me know exactly how much time you spent doing this. I keep track of how much time (man hours) club members spend on the parks and this information gets reported annually, which counts as a credit towards us keeping these parks for disc golf.

League is the only time many of us have to spend on trash clean up. It's always easiest when everyone is helping. True, league goers aren't obligated to pick up trash. Nobody is going to make them, but those who do should be encouraged. It is a shame, but the parks trashed condition really does make us discers look bad.

So can we get together to work on our muddy tee areas? What would be a good time? A Saturday after club at HH? I could let the parks dept know a week or 2 ahead of time. They could get us some grass seed & wood chips delivered.

Looks like the first non-icebowl event of the year is to be Feb 21st at Oak Park in Wichita.

The LSDiscs boys are running this one, they always do a great job.

This will be a great chance to get out and earn some KDGA points (More than 10 anyway).

Hope to see you guys there!

Anyone know anyone with a portable welder? Basket 2, 15, 16 need attention, if air capital members would donate 2-5$ a piece I'm sure this could be taken care of without much hassle, since I know the city's budget doesn't really include much for the park, it may not even take that much, 2s basket is literally about to fall to the ground.

Need someone to check all the baskets for a list of what needs fixed. The city has helped us out with this before- these baskets have been welded on many times.

Planning a workday at Oak for next Saturday after league at HH. Maybe Friday evening too.

Who can help with a workday this coming Saturday? Ronnie is working Saturdays now and I may be working myself this Sat (if so, I'll try to do a 5am-1:30pm shift). So I think we'll do league Saturday at Oak after the work, instead of 11am at HH.

Anyone have a truck that could help Saturday and or Friday evening? Could anyone meet me at Herman Hill on Wednesday at around 4:50pm to pick up tools & move pins?

Some stuff still to figure out. I'll try to keep this updated.

I have a half day of work Saturday as of right now, it may disappear so hopefully I can make it out to change pins with you since I don't think I'll be available Saturday
