My bubble is not burst by you, buddy. Thanks for trying tho

A Shark is not really a disc I'd want back either. However, my other discs that are worth something... different story

If you want to put snide comments on the forum, fine. Do not direct them at me when you don't have a clue sir. & that's me putting it nicely.
I've been playing in these parts for a long time now, I was just warning the dude that Wichita casual golfers more often than not, don't return plastic to it's owners. You'll see. Let me know when your game gets past "shark" level & we'll see how many you get back...
How exactly is this any different what you posted? I was just warning you that, Guess What, discs get returned. People probably see your Name on them and throw them even deeper into the water or bushes, Mr. Friendly Guy.

A Shark is a beginner disc? Why because it comes in a beginner pack? I'm happy you got yourself that newest driver that is speed 100 (READ: REAL PRO LEVEL) Maybe after playing another 10 years I will finally move up to your top level...look out I am inching ever so closer to the big dog! One of these days I am gonna find one of your 'Pro' discs out there on the course and take it for my own, THEN LOOKOUT!!!!!!! Boy oh Boy!!!

I'll beat you up and down any course anywhere with just my Shark and an Innova Ace, Friend.

Nice guy here! I hope we get to play a round sometime, then this brand new player with no clue can get real lesson from the old midwest pro! !!

Mark Wilson returns a lot of discs. If you've lost something and your not sure your phone number is on it, it's worth giving him a call.

I promise I am not trying to be antagonistic, but where you on hole 16 today with two other older fella's fishing a disc out of the water and yelling at the group behind you? about an hour before dusk? just curious, cause, well, I've never met you, but I would put money you were the one arguing yelling at those poor kids behind you as we tee'd up on 6.

If you knew who Duh is you would be laughing like I am about your assumption about who you think you are visiting with on the message board. Hope you enjoy playing disc golf and welcome to the message board.

your're right I am just assuming, which is my own problem for taking offense. I just put two and two together since I have never had anything but good experiences with people out on the course since being back home and then after joining and making one post I get a fairly aggressive personal attack here, followed by seeing someone being pretty rude and acting like they were the king of the park and all others where to bow to their Wimsey tonight. I just thought it fit the M.O. based on the numerous posts and attitude coming from one page back.

but again, my own fault for taking offense by it. did not intend to come here to feud with anybody, just a bit taken aback by two very similar 'strong attitudes' (to put it nicely), which putting two and two together I still can't rule out as the same person.

You played league last night? Is this Les?

There are a lot of personalities in our large group of golfers in Wichita. I'm sure you'll find that there are more than enough friendlies to make up for a few stand-offish. That's one of the reasons I enjoy running league: getting to meet and talk with a lot of cool folks.

There's a real solution to the problem. Tell me that I'm wrong- people do give discs back; but you're one who won't. Nice!

Can't wait to meet you!

I threw my KC Aviar Pro in the water last night at Derby on hole 16. Got in to try and find it, but to no avail. I did manage to find a 2011 Ice Bowl disc. Not sure what kind of disc it is, but it's definitely champion plastic. Last name is on the disc is Brown.

yeah that was our group getting yelled at by Bob Decker last night at Oak. It's weird that someone else who wasn't even with us thought that he was being a jerk and acting like he owned the park. no one in our group saw them fishing for there disc all the way down by the basket. we threw one disc, saw them, then didn't throw any more. Bobs kneejerk reaction was to scream at us. All i told him when we were still playing was that he could choose to relax but it was obvious he wasn't going to. I was wanting to let it die but he came up and got in my face and started loudly giving me his opinion on the situation. I really wish i would have handled the confrontation in a better way and i appologize to the people around us that heard us arguing. I just assumed since hes been playing the game for a long time he would try to be an ambasador for the sport(not scream at people who made an honest mistake on the course) I am sorry mike for making a scene during league. That guy really pissed me off. That was my first run in with Bob and hopefully my last.

Stuff happens. People misunderstand each other, people flip out. Main thing is that people do whatever it takes to put by-gones in the past.

well then it was obviously someone else other than who I thought. I again I was just a bit surprised at that situation. It seemed like he wanted everybody behind them stand around with their thumbs up their butt while they played around in the water.

but i still dont get what this 'Duh' persons problem is. Man or Woman doesn't matter, you came off as a jerk and tried to attack me for using the exact same language you did in a post: 'sorry to burst your bubble'. That is some rough talk indeed, but it definitely did not warrant a nasty inbox. And please quit now, after the second one you've sent. What is your end game here, what are you trying to prove. Really, why are you going so aggressive about this?? You inbox you want to know my name, you cant wait to see me on the course, give me a break. And you insinuated in a post that kids fishing discs out of the water were going to get beat up ...jeeze, keep your anger issues to yourself and try to stay classy there friend. I did not call out a girl, I called out a jerk on their questionable attitude.

So this is the lost disc thread right? My friend stuck an Orange Avenger in a tree last night..... guess it's a lost disc...
